You'd loose sleep if I told you how easy it was to whip up ricin based poison in your kitchen.
Renewed? Kind of a no brainer, huh?
It's near the top of my list of shows that were too good for TV when the discussion comes up.
I may be missing a perfectly good show, but the networks have conditioned me not to get too excited by any new sci-fi shows that they won't hesitate to cancel on a moment's notice.
I think it failed in the conceptual phase. That's why I predicted it would be quickly canceled. The creators of this series obviously thought they had a way to draw in both men and women with a new type of show, but in trying to blend two genres, it alienated both sexes who are partial to one or the other. Almost every woman I've ever dated had absolutely no interest in anything related to sci-fi and I'm guessing most ment aren't interested in soap operas. I watched, but resisted the temptation to get too invested in it because I just knew it was doomed. It costs a fortune to develop a new show. People in Hollywood get paid big bucks to figure out in advance what seemed pretty obvious to me.
I believe my comment on it's debut was that it would last almost as long as Life on Mars.
Gotta awear makeup on TV or you look like crap. Do they ever apply it to hands as well?
Ma'am got her attention, but she focused twice on his distinctive tat. That was the tell.
The brawl at the beginning was pretty lame. I don't know if it was the direction or the editing but everything looked so staged and phoney.
Agree that the show is lacking but the stars are making me watch. The chemistry must have rocked the casting director and made him/her wish for a better vehicle.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
