I still know how to do far more in ProTools than in Logic even though I haven't used PT since version 6 and I hate PT just out of principal. I've been using Logic 8 for live recordings of our band for the last few months and there are just things that I can't figure out how to do. Things that should be simple. Granted, I haven't really NEEDED to do these tasks so I haven't spent the time looking for a tutorial. I'm just used to the PT interface and wish Logic was more intuitive in certain areas.
Agreed, this is brilliant. I'm a Mac guy through and through, but this is, for the first time, a good ad campaign from MS. Even though I won't be buying a PC, I will remember "I'm a PC and Windows 7 was MY idea!"
I think Apple should throw their own Windows 7 Party by lowering system prices.

Oh, and upgrade Aperture to v3 while they're at it.
Why not do an invite-only rollout?
and don't forget it has the wireless flash trigger built in...this will save me a load on pocket wizards.
I am waiting and waiting for them to come out with 3.0. Am I being totally unrealistic to think that they'll actually come out with a new version?
This product seems prime material for www.woot.com.
I canceled my cable long ago and have used Hulu or torrents to watch my favorite shows. I used Boxee for a while, but now I've switched to Plex. I'm a pretty lite user, so maybe I'm just missing something. What does Boxee have to offer that Plex, a more polished and stable software (in my opinion), doesn't have?
but what sucks about this is that developers like Google won't be porting their apps. It would have been nice to have a Voice app straight from the source, or a Gmail app, etc.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
