ive literally known this from the very second i held my 9700 in my hands. if you look at it at an angle you can see that the trackpad has that same pseudo clearness that the business end of a remote control has. has a slight red/purple tinge to it.

i.e. the trackpad itself is just a shell
is this confirmed...i havent seen anything solid on that...hopefully i missed it?...
i currently have the iPhone and it sucks for email (when u manage multiple accts) my curve (8300) that the iPhone replaced was alot better. i find myself never using the youtube features, always emailing people/myself pics (no mms) and rarely doing music other than in my car...and based on verizons habit/problem of locking the gps on their berrys...i think ill pass the storm and go right to the bold, for me this phone should be perfect! i cant wait!
nitro is slated till at least 2012
i am near detroit and today so far was good, but the last few days i have been unable to maintain EDGE on my curve. i would see edge if i was lucky and most of the time it was GPRS and GSM...during which i cannot browse the web, but my email and messenger worked. so far att's network compared to the verizon 700p i switched from has been complete shit.
im looking forward to helping to iphone hacking community do more with this phone/figurer out the OS/make it do things they dont want you to do with it! :-)
tmobile is on the ball lately! they are the least evil way to do gsm in the usa i can think of! great prices too! (im on vzw but considering tmobile)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
