Ok, lay off the hatorade, buddy. Just because you can't afford one doesn't mean it's a piece of shit. I just can't see why people who either don't like apple (and their products) or just can't afford them feel the need to post negative things about the iPhone. We get it you don't like it, but other people still do, get over it and go post somewhere where ppl give a shit what you have to say!
To Oracle. Well, the first revision of the iPhone "probably" won't have a GPS chipset in it, but that doesn't mean, the second one won't. That's exactly what you're statement sounds like.
I put "probably" because Apple did ask the FCC to keep some material confidential until after the iPhone is released. I'm ready to bet it has something to do with a GPS chipset or a 3G radio or something Steve Jobs didn't announce the iPhone would have. We'll hate and see.
I have a treo, and NO a treo can't do 1/3 of the stuff the iPhone can. The iPhone is not for everyone, people. Don't forget that. People went crazy for the RZR so imagine what it will be for the iPhone which is 10 times better.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
