Free is nice.
All of you that are complaining most likely have not used the system. It actually is quite useful and its nice to not have to worry about one more thing when you are traveling. And at the airports they do use it at (I have only used it at Houston's Bush Intercontinental) they know what they are doing and what they are suppose to do when someone has their boarding pass on their phone. its not a huge deal.
I wasn't aware that they weren't in the Apple stores yet. They were in this weeks ad for Best Buy. Though I'm not sure that they were in Best Buy stores, because the one that I work at doesn't sell Apple products. Apple sure did push that Ships by February date a little to close.
I work at Best Buy and we have had these for about a week or a week an d a half now. Nothing new.
Damn Engadget...all you ever cover is Microsoft news, and I'm so sick and tired of hearing about it. Microsoft this, Microsoft that. Give me a special web page link so I don't have to see this everytime I view the main page. (Sarcasm)

You don't see any Apple fanboys bitching, do you?

BTW, they are UGLY!
I just got a touch, but an iPhone would be sweet too...
me me me!!!
Woo...more free stuff :)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
