Aug 11th 2008 4:05PM I wonder how Lenovo and Dell are gonna respond to this. Smart move by HP. This is gonna get gobbled up by all the businesses that need to do actual mobile work. The current Dell latitudes ain't gonna cut it.

Canon wins SED lawsuit, can produce SED displays again {Engadget}
Aug 6th 2008 11:47PM If Canon can make a debut into retail establishments by 3rd or 4th quarter of 2010, I think they might still stand a chance. My current HDTV, the Sony KDL46XBR4 is great, but if SED technology has anything to say about it, I'm going to bet that those with already into high definition can make the argument to upgrade their tech.

Chevy Volt plug-in hybrid priced at $40,000 {Engadget}
Jun 19th 2008 6:03PM You guys are all a buncha losers. Just because the title of this post is "Chevy Volt plug-in hybrid priced at 40,000" doesn't mean you have to criticize GM for this fact. The big idea is that this type of product will even be coming to market! Honestly folks. Realize that perhaps this development maybe, just maybe, stimulate some competition with even more eco-friendly capabilities as well as a more pocket-friendly price tag.
Only one thing to nitpick - and this goes to all auto manufacturers out there - stop making eco-friendly vehicles so butt-ugly.
How would you change Lenovo's X300? {Engadget}
Jun 6th 2008 9:56PM Take my T61p and shrink it to the X300 size. Then add in a touch screen monitor to implement Windows 7.
