My favorite Chat Protocol is AIM. Hey, it works, iChat uses it. Etc. etc. There are a lot of other ones though, but I generally go back to AIM.

Wrong Matt. I have a 3rd Generation iPod, from 2003 (I think?), that still works, and my 5G iPod Video has been working great for like 2+ years.

Stop the FUD.
Why can't the industry just adapt names like Apple has. iMac, and you figure out the specs depending on the year.

Intel, Core 2 Duo 2008. Simple.
Oh, you mean like the success they had with MP3 players?

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a wireless trackpad to use with my older (2.5 or so years old) C2D MacBook that's perpetually docked to my home theater. Something sleek, thin, not too small, made of high quality materials. Ideally, it would natively support all of (Snow) Leopard's multitouch inputs, and even more ideally, it would have a charging dock / base. The only problem is that I'm not sure that such a thing even exists. Think you can throw me a bone?"
