Multitouch in windows 7 apparently works well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kdcpo3-XxI0
Apparently, T91 handles Windows 7 quite well, and supports, wait for it,MULTITOUCH: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kdcpo3-XxI0
When a song is playing, you'll hear the lyrics perfectly synced with the song through the smart voice interface - how could Apple possibly top that :))
Ever had some Dell Latitude? With a basic screwdriver you'll have HDD changed in like 20 seconds, the designers really took care to make disk swap as painless as possible (RAM chip under the keyboard is a different story, though :)).
Uses? What about realtime hires monitoring of a battlefield, both war and civil (having a realtime zoomable video of whole revolting city in one frame will make crowd control soo much easier and more effective - now you can deploy taser barriers with single click of a mouse while hundreds of protesters die from heart attack, also good to position those microwave pain effectors with maximal efficiency).
I can't wait for this to be used against me for my own money!!!
Yeah, MS smartphone with iPhoto and Tango icons... wake me when it happens - like, NEVER.

I read that energy of sound of all humans on Earth wouldn't suffice to run ONE car engine. Therefore I don't think that you would be able to charge the cellphone fast enough by talking, maybe 10 hours on a technoparty to get energy for a minute call, but not more.
Exactly - glad that you mentioned it. Fast XP/Vista/Leopard on a flash drive is now possible without being a low-level hacker.
Added bonus is that eSATA has much lower CPU utilization that USB, and once we get to 50MB+ speeds, it starts to matter.
Exactly - I just bought 5 months old Dell D630 with 2.5yrs of NBD warranty, in a perfect state for this price. It is a little bit heavier, but it is a beast with Core 2 duo, dedicated GPU, and 3h with wifi on standard battery. Much better deal.
Yeah, HP laptops really reflect latest improvements in computing... provided that latest Vaio Z-series stand on the other side of well lit room :).
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
