On the plus side to this, at least I won't have to see 20 straight Apple related posts on Engadget during the keynote, followed up with a sidebar advertisement of "Macworld wall to wall coverage!" that will sit on the page for 2 weeks.

Apple's 24-inch LED Cinema Display review

It is silly to charge $899 for a 24 inch LCD monitor. Especially one that is lacking enough video inputs.

I purchased a Samsung 26 inch LCD monitor for $270 at Best Buy (a major clearance find) a few months ago.

Not that you usually find monitors that cheap, but there is literally no reason to buy this when you can find major brand names with similar sized monitors for hundreds less than Apple's version.

Sure it is sleek, the picture is fantastic, and I'm sure it integrates well with notebooks, but who cares when you charge more around twice as much for it than other monitors.

Is all of that worth the price point? Probably not.

Complainers need to shutup and realize that about a very small handful of people that buy iPhones unlock it. Not to mention you are doing something to the phone that isn't supported. Its ridiculous that people complain about this.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
