I take my Kindle DX on the train ride to work everyday. I see several other people on the train who own Kindles as well. Several people at my workplace also own Kindles. When I go on vacation, I take my Kindle on the plane and have my whole library of books and magazines with me.

If there is a market for regular books, then there is a market for electronic books. Your worldview seems to be limited by your own tastes and preferences.

Has anyone seen that movie (I forget the name) where there is this exotic black car (ferrari diablo?) which came from hell and there's no driver and it runs people down? This somehow reminds me of that.

I love using my kindle dx to study and read pdfs. But next to this thing, my kindle dx looks so antiquated. If the B&N reader has wireless download of purchases and pdf support like the kindle, then its going to blow the kindle out of the water.

swa, they do have one with a built-in viewfinder. It's called the GH1.

But imagine a GF1 with a viewfinder. Where would you put it? How comfortable would it be to hold a tiny camera up to your face? At first I had the same opinion as you, but after thinking about it, I realized that they made the right decision to make the viewfinder an add-on. A viewfinder takes too much space and if you are prioritizing size, then you leave off the viewfinder.
