No Gregory House? Are you insane? He drives a frickin motorcycle and apparently every female on earth has a thing for that 3-day stubble he sports. Come on!
I don't think it was kindness so much as logic which seemed kind. He had the money, he didn't need the money, she did need the money, so why not loan it to her. It was his lack of emotion about it that made him seem nice because he wasn't resentful about how long she'd keep it, etc.
The cold open was perfect! Dwight is super-paranoid, if the wire just went to the bathroom or something it would have meant nothing. If it runs to communication lines, he thinks someone is monitoring him.
House was robbed!
No wonder my new Samsung 30 inch display looks so much better then a Apple cinema display. I kept going back and forth thinking the cinema display should have been the same because the panel was from Samsung. Now I know.
Checked out the videos and it looks decent but unless it's super-cheap, I can't imagine anyone picking this over AudioHijack Pro from Rogue Amoeba. Those guys are the audio kings. I own all of there products but one and they all perform flawlessly.
If you don't have problems turning on PHP in your OS X install, you can use the free and open-source Vespasian.

If you just want to control iTunes, you might want to give Vespasian a go. It'll control iTunes from the iPhone or any PDA and has a desktop interface as well if you wanted to control iTunes from the browser of a full-size computer.

"I really think that releasing these games will only tell EA what they already knew: Mac owners don't buy their games. Be serious: how many of you readers are really going to hit the link above and buy Battlefield 2142 right now? I didn't think so."

Could you be a little less jerky about it? Despite what *you* think, there are plenty of Mac users who want to play games. I myself keep a windows workstation around just to play games on and these games EA has released will be that number less on the windows machine. And I have several friends who all have gotten turned on to Macs and are gamers. I seriously hate it when people group everyone together, your just as bad as the "macs are only good for graphics" people or the "macs are only good for the elderly" crowd.
Or if you don't want to pay anything at all and don't mind a couple commands on the terminal to enable PHP on your Mac, you could use the free software called Vespasian. (http://www.vespasian.org)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
