Can anyone tell me if the Nexus 4 is compatible with Beats by Dre headphones?

I know for some phones (such as my beloved BlackBerry 9780), the 3.5mm headphone jack is shaped in such a way that does not allow the Beats by Dre headphone port to fully connect into it...I'm wondering if my headphones will work with this phone or not, basically.

Type of Jack of your Beats by Dre headphone is 3.5mm. And Nexus 4 has a standard 3.5mm headphone jack and secondary mic on top. Hope it's helpful.

if your asking about it in terms of HTC it does not have Beats drivers but yes it is compatible with them cause the jack on both is 3.5 mm they will plug but if you have the so called "beats integration" and the "beats driver" it will not have that and the control talk or whatever the ipod control is called the volume keys will NOT work but play pause ect will work

It's also worth noting that the Nexus 4's headphone jack is compatible with larger 3.5mm connectors (the rubberized part that you grip). When headphones are plugged in, the butt of the connector doesn't even touch the phone, and part of it is exposed, so it really should work with any 3.5mm headphones.

I've got a pair of JVC over-the-ear headphones where the jack looks like this:

and it works just fine.
