Does the Moto X support wireless charging?

I've seen numerous reports which claim the Moto X has wireless charging as well as other posts that claim it doesn't. Any official word from Moto?

No, it does not support wireless charging. A third party case would be needed to do it, but then you cover up the uniqueness of the phone.

This is interesting, I thought the answer would be easy but you are correct. Some sites say it does have it, some sites say it does not.

On the motorola site (the Moto X page) they don't mention wireless charging at all. You think that if it was in the phone they would for sure list it, anything that gives them an edge.

A third-party case isn't a bad idea though. Protects your phone. (I've damaged past phones because I didn't have a case.) And the Moto X is pretty small already, so a case wouldn't make it too bulky. The Incipio Wireless Charging case looks pretty stylish:

If the phone does support wireless charging, Motorola hasn't included the drivers to allow it to do so. I haven't seen any hint of it supporting it, though I have seen websites claiming it does,
