You can also put your memory card into your PC, or a card reader and then place the music into the music folder on the card.

Connect the PSP to the computer using a mini USB cable, open up the memory card drive for the PSP on the computer, then drag all your music into the Music folder.

You can make subfolders (one level I think) as well in the Music folder for your music.

There are two ways to do that. If you have a PC who can see your SD card, some computers can't. And put it on your SD card, or you use a psp usb cable, and connect it.

Interestingly enough, if you are using a PC, PSP has their own software to make it easier too, Windows Media Player treats that device as a storage it can sync to.

You can transfer with the SD card in your PSP. With an SD card formated by the PSP or in FAT32, I prefer to put the card in my MAC SD card read/writer drag & drop the MP3s on it and put it back into the PSP. This way the PSP knows where to look for the songs. I follow the path set up on the card by the PSP.
