Is the international Galaxy Note II compatible with both AT&T / T-Mobile 3G and 4G?

From my research, it looks like the international Galaxy Note II works on T-Mobile and AT&T's 3G networks, but not 4G. I'm having a hard time finding a definitive answer on this, so I'm just looking for some confirmation. I want to be able to switch the Note II from T-Mobile to AT&T if needed.

There are 3 versions of the Galaxy Note II

Galaxy Note 2 N7100
- HSPA+ 21 Mbps 850/900/1900/2100 Mhz
- Factory unlocked and unbranded

Galaxy Note 2 i317
- LTE Enabled 700/1700 Mhz
- HSPA+ 42 Mbps 850/900/1900/2100 Mhz
- Carrier unlocked and branded

Galaxy Note 2 T889
- HSPA+ 42 Mbps 850/1700/1900/2100 Mhz
- Carrier unlocked and branded

AT&T uses the 850/1900mhz bands for 3G. For 4G LTE they use the 700mhz band primarily and the 1700mhz band secondarily.

So all 3 versions will work with AT&T 3G but only the i317 is compatible with the 4G LTE network.

T-Mobile in most areas uses 1700mhz for 3G, meaning only the T889 model of the galaxy note 2 will be compatible (some cities are introducing the 1900mhz frequencies for t-mobile which would mean all 3 versions would be compatible, but this is currently limited)

The T889 does not support LTE. So you will not get 4G LTE with T-Mobile

So if you are okay with only 3G on both networks the correct option should be to find a T889 version of the Galaxy Note II

The international N7100 will not work on both.
