Which 3rd-party USB WiFi adapters work with the original Xbox 360?
but like you, i am just having the hardest time justifying the cost of the official OR madcatz options. trading my current xbox in and getting a new one sounds like a better "investment" if i'm gonna pony up $80. i've been watching amazon, and even the original xbox adapters listed there appear to have fallen in price, but once you factor in shipping, they really haven't come down at all.

hope microsoft doesn't EVER require you to buy a separate wifi adapter on ANY product they make ever again.
Unfortunately, as I'm from England I can't say whether the same thing is happening in the USA. But over here the price has come down quite a bit to make it a much more affordable purchase.
The upside is that is work with just about any Ethernet device, the downside is that it only has one port on it.
Here is some link with more info on the WET610N.
