Every Android phone makers puts a skin on their devices. The only Android devices without skins are those that Google has specially manufactured to be their Google Experience Phones. The Nexus One, Nexus S, etc. The most current Google Experience Phone that just runs stock Android is the Nexus S 4G.

One that that's out of the way, I find Samsung's Touchwiz (the latest version, 4.0) to be the best of the skins. Instead of being intrusive, it actually adds nice features that I sometimes wish were in stock Android.

On another note, sometimes the carriers add more bloatware than the manufacuturers, so if you don't want a Google experience phone, try and find an international unlocked version of the phone you want because they usually don't have carrier bloatware.

I find that they are all bloated, but I think HTC's Sense 3.0 is the most useful of the bunch. The new lockscreen is a brilliant design and all of their widgets are useful as well.

AFAIK the G2X doesn't have much at all/any skinning. Other than that, I'd go Galaxy S II with Touch Wiz 4.0
