Yes, we discuss all of this and more. We also take some time to answer fanmail about the wireless headset, the Orange Box, and THE MOST DIFFICULT FANCAST QUESTION EVER (according to the person who sent it to us). This week's Fancast is a doozy! And it's only partly because we can't stop rambling! Yes, we actually have important things to talk about, including HMV taking pre-orders for 360 MGS4 (which is no longer the case, by the way), Master Chief's possible death in Halo 3, and the continuing battle between Guitar Hero III and Rock Band. We also take some time to answer fanmail and discuss the difference between R rated movies and M rated games (hint: movies get away with a lot more). As a special treat, we also have some music contributed by some of our very own readers, which is a trend we'd love to see continue. Download the Fancast below or be the laughingstock of your entire neighborhood.Get the Fancast[iTunes] Subscribe to the Podcast directly in iTunes (MP3).[RSS MP3] Add the Xbox 360 Fanboy Podcast feed (in MP3) to your RSS aggregator and have the show delivered automatically.[MP3] Download the MP3 directly.

It's time for another fresh, steaming helping of the Xbox 360 Fancast. This week we talk about Resident Evil 5, Condemned 2's potential ESRB troubles, and the 360 portability of MGS4. We also take some time to answer fanmail about Canadian game dealers and our biggest E3 disappointments. Finally, prompted by the 360-only content in GTAIV, we take a long look at the term "exclusive" and what place it has in the current generation of console games. As always, you may download by your method of choice below. (Note to Harry Potter fanboys: the comments made by Jeff Bell occurred well before the latest book was released. We would never spoil your Harry Potter goodness.)Get the podcast[iTunes] Subscribe to the Podcast directly in iTunes (MP3).[RSS MP3] Add the Xbox 360 Fanboy Podcast feed (in MP3) to your RSS aggregator and have the show delivered automatically.[MP3] Download the MP3 directly.Update: This episode was briefly stuck in a time warp and has only now been published at the correct time. This is it folks, Xbox 360 Fancast episode 25. We are a day late but certainly not a dollar short. No, this week our show is jam-packed with E3 goodness. We have four, count 'em four, interviews directly from E3. We cornered and threatened Xbox paragons Frank O'Connor and Brian "Ske7ch" Jarrard from Bungie Studios. Seeing reason, they acquiesced to our request and agreed to an interview. Good thing for them too, because we totally would have called them names if they hadn't. As if that wasn't enough, we also nabbed an interview with Mr. Fable 2 himself, Peter Molyneux. Listen in wonder as his warm British voice washes over you and puts you in a spell. You'd best snap back to reality though, as we saved our biggest interview for last: Vice President of Microsoft's Entertainment and Devices Division, Peter Moore.Yes, we have all these interviews and plenty of E3 information squeezed between them. It's giant quadruple-decker audio sandwich, and we've made it just for you. Dowload and enjoy. Don't forget your napkin.Get the podcast[iTunes] Subscribe to the Podcast directly in iTunes (MP3).[RSS MP3] Add the Xbox 360 Fanboy Podcast feed (in MP3) to your RSS aggregator and have the show delivered automatically.[MP3] Download the MP3 directly.

This week, we talk about Bungie Day, the latest in Rock Band, Virtua Fighter 5's 360 enhancements, and of course, we discuss the newly extended Xbox 360 warranty. It's time once again for a brand new edition of the Xbox 360 Fancast. This week, we continue our tradition of "guests at the fives (and occasionally in between)" with a special appearance by Dan Landeck of PopCap Games. Dan shares with us the ... unique pleasure of submitting games for review to the ESRB. In addition to our fabulous guest, we also spend time talking about Pac-Man Championship Edition, Assassin's Creed, Overlord, and what everyone thinks of Shadowrun. We also debut a new segment, From the Front-lines, in which we discuss comments we received on stories from the past week. Try as we might, we seem to have trouble shuffling 3 whole people into the "studio" these days, so you may notice that Dustin is absent during this episode of the Xbox 360 Fancast. We apologize for the delay, by the way. We were busy stuffing ourselves with exotic meats. This week, we bring you a super special edition of the Xbox 360 Fancast. Rather than just listening to us gab on and on about Burnout Paradise, the new Gears of War maps, and the metric ton of leaked Halo 3 goodness (which we do), why not listen to an interview with Mitch Gitelman? Who's Mitch Gitelman you ask? Why he's none other than the studio manager of FASA Studio, creators of the upcoming Xbox 360 and PC title, Shadowrun. We talk his ear off for nearly an hour about all things Shadowrun, from the game's genesis to its impending release. It's been a long hard road, but the Fancast has finally made it. That's right, it's our third-iversary. But we won't waste your time with flashbacks and clips from our expansive catalogue of old shows. No, we delve deep into the newest bits of info about our beloved Xbox 360. This week, we discuss all the latest Halo 3 news, unearth all the happenings on Xbox Live Arcade, poor some salt into Sony's already festering PR wound, and even round up some new Oblivion and Square-Enix news. And of course, there's a bunch of inane and pointless banter, too. It just wouldn't be a Fancast without it.Get the podcast[iTunes] Subscribe to the Podcast directly in iTunes (MP3).[RSS MP3] Add the Xbox 360 Fanboy Podcast feed (in MP3) to your RSS aggregator and have the show delivered automatically. As always, you can download the MP3 directly at the bottom of this post.

To the sound of much fanfare and the smell of Old Spice, the Xbox Rewards program was made official this week. Naturally, we all have our own feelings about this. Our own resident achievement whore, David Dreger, will be unable to participate because he doesn't live in the United States (it's a helluva commute to Fanboy Towers for him). We want to know how you feel about the program. Is it a good thing to reward players for achievements? Is it just a sneaky way to get all of us to buy or rent more games? If you've got something to say, send an email to fancast[AT]xbox360fanboy[DOT]com. If you want, you can even send us a recorded message (WAV or MP3). If you've got something thought provoking to say, we might just share it with the world during the next Fancast. Of course, you can also leave comments right here. Tell us what you think, fanboys, then check out the Fancast next week.
