American Eagle invites shoppers to take off their pants, get a free smartphone
From July 21 through August 3, all you need to do is slip on a pair of jeans at an American Eagle store and they'll toss you a new smartphone for free on contract. Heck, you don't even need to buy them -- just try them on, and you're good to go. Of course, the stunt isn't that amazing when you consider that carriers often offer huge bounties to independent resellers that can win new subscribers, but we'll still be interested to see exactly what carriers and models are offered (BlackBerry and Android options are being promised).
