  • Bertrand Serlet joins Parallels board of directors

Parallels, the company behind the popular Parallels Desktop virtualization software for Mac OS X, announced that Bertrand Serlet has been appointed to the company's board of directors. Serlet was the senior vice president of software engineering at Apple, and was responsible for the development of Mac OS X from its beginning until his departure from Apple last August. Serlet holds a doctorate in computer science from the University of Orsay, France.
