WRUP: Hello PAX East, bye GDC
We're wrapping up GDC 2011 coverage, so check out all of that. Next week is PAX East 2011 and Joystiq has something going on every day of the event. Friday night we kick things off with a live recording of the Joystiq Podcast. Saturday we bookend the show day with the Second Annual Joystiq Blueberry Muffin Tops Breakfast in the morning and a live recording of Joystiq's Xbox 360 Fancast (X3F) that evening. On Sunday, we slow it down with a couple gaming panels hosted by our Editor-in-chief Chris Grant. Joystiq Blueberry Muffin Tops Breakfast at PAX East Part 2: Blueberry Boogaloo
Tradition. A word we are happy to use in describing our Second Annual Joystiq Blueberry Muffin Tops Breakfast at PAX East, brought to you by the fabulous folks at Malt-O-Meal and your buddies at Joystiq, who already have a couple things planned for the convention. If you're heading to PAX East and will be around on Saturday, March 12, please feel free to join us for the exceptional price of free, for the galaxy's finest cereal (yes, galaxy, we've talked to aliens): Blueberry Muffin Tops. The only catch... nope! No catch this year. Just show up at room 052 at 10AM on Saturday. The room does only hold about 500 people, so please be aware of that. If it sounds like we're going to be overwhelmed, we may implement a bracelet system like last year, which we'll certainly announce on the site. WRUP: Joystiq's big PAX East Saturday plans edition
This is a time-sensitive reminder that Joystiq will be hosting a Blueberry Muffin Tops breakfast at PAX East, which will have many of your favorite 'stiq editors in attendance. Normally, we wouldn't mention this until we're closer to the event date of Saturday, March 27, but with the current state of ticket sales for the convention, we'd like to remind anyone who'd really like to attend that getting a Saturday ticket is essential. Also, the Joystiq Podcast will record live at the show that evening and, frankly, who knows what else we'll plan between now and then. So, yeah, Saturday is kinda big.
