Considering that we can't even pronounce the HDTV lineup we're referring too here, we'll assume these are simply made to be enjoyed by a finer class of individuals. All jesting aside (sort of...), the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/Bordeaux/">Bordeaux</a> PAVV Fabrizio 650 lineup that just landed in Korea contains two newcomers: a 40- and 46-incher, both of which sport full 1080p panels and 120Hz dejudder technology. They also include DLNA support and an integrated USB port alongside four HDMI 1.3 sockets and your favorite glass of wine. There's no mention of a price or US release date, but those with friends in high places probably needn't worry.<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/displays/" rel="tag">Displays</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/samsung/" rel="tag">Samsung</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/lcd/" rel="tag">LCD</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/03/06/samsung-gets-fancy-with-bordeaux-pavv-fabrizio-650-lcd-hdtvs/">Samsung gets fancy with Bordeaux PAVV Fabrizio 650 LCD HDTVs</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Fri, 06 Mar 2009 12:20:00 EST. While we found Samsung's IT solutions emphasis here at CeBIT a bit of a yawn -- when executive gets up and tells you that printers are his "personal passion," you know you're in for a wild ride -- we are glad to see that the company is sticking some of its consumer design cues into its business products. Case in point, the T-series LCDs borrow from the "crystal" style elements of the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/Bordeaux/">Bordeaux</a> series, but pack in some business-friendly specifications. The SyncMaster T260 is the flagship of the series, with 26-inches of real estate, 1920 x 1200 resolution, 20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 5ms response time and a DTV tuner option, while the similar T240 hits at 24-inches and brings 0.3 Watts standby power. Inputs include DVI and HDMI and D-sub. More basic displays start at 19-inches, multiple color accent options are available, and everything will be available globally in March.<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/samsung-unveils-t-series-lcd-lineup-for-the-suits/">Samsung unveils T-series LCD lineup for the suits</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/samsung-unveils-t-series-lcd-lineup-for-the-suits/#672698"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2008/03/samsung-tseries-000_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/samsung-unveils-t-series-lcd-lineup-for-the-suits/#672712"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2008/03/samsung-tseries-001_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/samsung-unveils-t-series-lcd-lineup-for-the-suits/#672714"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2008/03/samsung-tseries-002_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/samsung-unveils-t-series-lcd-lineup-for-the-suits/#672706"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2008/03/samsung-tseries-003_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/samsung-unveils-t-series-lcd-lineup-for-the-suits/#672703"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2008/03/samsung-tseries-1000_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/displays/" rel="tag">Displays</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/03/03/samsung-unveils-t-series-lcd-lineup-for-the-suits/">Samsung unveils T-series LCD lineup for the suits</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Mon, 03 Mar 2008 06:50:00 EST. "Damn, that's one fine ass printer you've got sitting on your desk" isn't a phrase you hear from guests too often -- if ever -- but we'll bet francs to frites that Samsung's new ML-1631K and SCX-4501K '<a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/bordeaux">Bordeaux</a>'-branded models will draw more than their fair share of oohs and aahs sitting next to your rig. With all the info on these laser printers frustratingly confined to Korean, we're hard up to tell you even one damn spec about them save for their thicknesses (12 and 16.5 centimeters, respectively), so forget all that PPM and DPI jazz you'd normally be expecting. Instead, sit back and take in one of the first attempts we've seen in a long time to give the office workhorse a much needed makeover; you listening, HP? More pics after the break....<br /><br />[Thanks, Jayoung R. and Soonam K.]<p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/08/29/samsung-unveils-hot-ass-bordeaux-laser-printers/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Samsung unveils hot ass 'Bordeaux' laser printers</em></a></p><p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/peripherals/" rel="tag">Peripherals</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/08/29/samsung-unveils-hot-ass-bordeaux-laser-printers/">Samsung unveils hot ass 'Bordeaux' laser printers</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Wed, 29 Aug 2007 10:39:00 EST. Samsung is adding more midrange options to its overseas <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/Bordeaux/">Bordeaux</a> lineup, with new LCDs in 23-, 32- and 40-inch sizes. These 720p (1366x768) HDTVs feature 8ms response times, 8,000:1 contrast ratio and 550 cd/m2 brightness on the two larger screens, while the 23-inch is limited to a 4,000:1 contrast and 450cd/m2 brightness rating. The smallest LCD eschews the slick black finish that seems standard for the line, but for just 69,800 yen ($581 U.S.), we'll overlook it. The 40-inch LN40R81B (above) will cost 168,00 yen ($1,398 U.S.) and the 32-inch 99,800 yen ($830 U.S.) when all three are released on the 27th. More photos after the break.<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/displays/" rel="tag">Displays</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/samsung/" rel="tag">Samsung</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/lcd/" rel="tag">LCD</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/07/27/samsungs-latest-bordeaux-lcds-give-720p-some-style-again/">Samsung's latest Bordeaux LCDs give 720p some style again</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Fri, 27 Jul 2007 14:05:00 EST. Hot on the heels of their <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/04/25/samsung-rolls-out-bluetooth-equipped-pavv-cannes-plasma-tv/">PAVV plasmas</a> come three new PAVV LCDs. The 40-, 46-, and 52-inch models all bring a 1080p resolution to the game with 3x HDMIs and a sweet 17,000:1 contrast -- barely nudging out the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/03/24/samsungs-latest-bordeaux-lcd-trio-touts-15000-1-contrast-ratio/">trio of Bordeaux LCDs</a> unveiled back in March. These sets also feature <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/acap">ACAP</a>, as in Advanced Common Application Platform for interactive television -- part of the ATSC spec we're familiar with Stateside. However, at the moment these sets are S.Korea-only tagged ?3,200,000 (about $3,424) for the LN40M92BD, ?4,200,000 (about $4,494) for the LN46M92BD, and ?5,400,000 (about $5,779) for the LN52M92BD. <br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.akihabaranews.com/en/news-14094-New+PAVV+TeleVisions+by+Samsung+%28incredible+contrast%21%29.html">Akihabara News</a>]<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/industry/" rel="tag">Industry</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/displays/" rel="tag">Displays</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/samsung/" rel="tag">Samsung</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/06/13/samsungs-bordeaux-pavv-lcds-17-000-1-contrast-and-acap/">Samsung's Bordeaux PAVV LCDs: 17,000:1 contrast and ACAP</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Wed, 13 Jun 2007 08:14:00 EST. The 19-inch LN19R71B boasts the usual sleek black <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/samsung/">Samsung</a> motif, an oval stand that doubles as a wall mount, 1,440 x 900 resolution, eight-millisecond response time, 600:1 contrast ratio, 160-degree viewing angles, and a DNIe processing engine. Additionally, you'll (probably not) find a pair of three-watt stereo speakers, as they are purportedly hidden from view thanks to the DACS (dual acoustic chamber system), as well as a HDCP-compliant <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/hdmi">HDMI</a> port, VGA / S-Video / composite jacks, built-in terrestrial analog tuner, and a headphone jack to boot. Best of all, however, is that this mini Bordeaux packs an equally small pricetag in comparison to its larger siblings, as you can snap this one up without tanking the checking account at &yen;49,800 ($412).<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.electronista.com/articles/07/05/18/samsung.ln19r71b/">Electronista</a>]<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/displays/" rel="tag">Displays</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/samsung/" rel="tag">Samsung</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/lcd/" rel="tag">LCD</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/05/19/samsung-goes-small-with-the-bordeaux-ln19r71b-lcd-hdtv/">Samsung goes small with the Bordeaux LN19R71B LCD HDTV</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Sat, 19 May 2007 02:03:00 EST. Jumping from <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2005/05/27/samsung-50-inch-hdtv-with-10000-1-contrast-ratio/">10000:1</a> to 15000:1 in the contrast ratio department, the 40-inch LN40M81BD, 46-inch LN46M81BD, and 52-inch LN52M81BD all tout the True Black Panel technology in order to bring "plasma-like blacks" to the LCD HDTV arena, and you'll also find three <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/hdmi/">HDMI</a> ports, "Full HD" resolution, and the obligatory sexy black frame to really set your living room theater off. Unfortunately, further details on the units are scarce, but we do expect all three sets to hit the Korean market soon for $3,518, $4,690, and $5,863 depending on size.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.trustedreviews.com/tvs/news/2007/03/24/Samsung-Unveils-1080P-LCDs-With-3x-HDMI/p1">TrustedReviews</a>]<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/hdtv/" rel="tag">HDTV</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/homeentertainment/" rel="tag">Home Entertainment</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/03/24/samsungs-latest-bordeaux-lcd-trio-touts-15000-1-contrast-ratio/">Samsung's latest Bordeaux LCD trio touts 15000:1 contrast ratio</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Sat, 24 Mar 2007 13:20:00 EST. Samsung's no stranger to pumping out displays with a very respectable <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2005/05/27/samsung-50-inch-hdtv-with-10000-1-contrast-ratio/">10,000:1 contrast ratio</a>, and the firm is kicking out two more with its latest <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/04/05/samsung-updates-pva-lcd-line-with-32-and-40-inch-bordeaux-mode/">Bordeaux</a> duo. While the company has already bumped the PVA LCD lineup to 32- and 40-inches before, now it's taking things a bit further by adding a 10,000:1 contrast ratio and a trio of HDMI ports, with one being of the front-accessible variety and the others flanking the rear. Additionally, the overall design scheme received a subtle, but much appreciated facelift, as the screens now offer up a shinier coat, rounder edges, and a pair of lovely demonstrators adorning each side. Unfortunately, the nitty gritty on this one is sparse, but as soon as <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/samsung/">Samsung</a> divulges anything else substantial about these admittedly glitzy sets, we'll be on it.<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/displays/" rel="tag">Displays</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/hdtv/" rel="tag">HDTV</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/homeentertainment/" rel="tag">Home Entertainment</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/02/06/samsungs-latest-bordeaux-lcd-hdtvs-boast-a-10000-1-contrast-r/">Samsung's latest "Bordeaux" LCD HDTVs boast a 10000:1 contrast ratio</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Tue, 06 Feb 2007 13:13:00 EST. The new screens, available in 32 and 40-inch
models, have a solid 6ms response rate and 5000:1 contrast ratio. The company has tagged these "Bordeaux,"
for no reason we can see other than the fact that it gave Samsung an excuse to introduce them with pics of a model
holding a glass of red wine. Both models (the TVs, not the one holding the wine) look pretty good, with integrated
bases, a slim profile and on-bezel controls. No word yet on pricing or release dates.<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/displays/" rel="tag">Displays</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/hdtv/" rel="tag">HDTV</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/homeentertainment/" rel="tag">Home Entertainment</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/04/05/samsung-updates-pva-lcd-line-with-32-and-40-inch-bordeaux-mode/">Samsung updates PVA LCD line with 32 and 40-inch "Bordeaux" models</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Wed, 05 Apr 2006 11:00:00 EST.
