LG's just announced a new <a href="http://www.engadget.com/all/monitor">desktop visualizer</a> for us all and it looks a promising proposition with its stupendously thin 7.3mm profile and minimal bezels surrounding the screen. But wait, it can't be all good news and it's not, as LG's also decided to apply an ultra-glossy finish to the E90, which should easily neutralize any understated appeal it might otherwise have had. As usual with these ultraslim displays, most of the electronics are encased in the E90's base, though the specs themselves don't seem to be showing any sacrifices. You're looking at an LED-backlit panel with a 2-millisecond response time, a 1920 x 1080 resolution (on the 21.5-inch E2290V), 250 nits of brightness, analog, digital and HDMI inputs, a 10,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and a &euro;329 ($435) MSRP. It should be available at some point later this month, see video of its appearance at <a href="http://www.engadget.com/all/ifa2010">IFA</a> this year after the break.<p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/12/13/lgs-e90-monitor-slims-down-to-7-3mm-thickness-by-stuffing-every/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>LG's E90 monitor slims down to 7.3mm thickness by stuffing everything into its excessively glossy base</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/12/13/lgs-e90-monitor-slims-down-to-7-3mm-thickness-by-stuffing-every/">LG's E90 monitor slims down to 7.3mm thickness by stuffing everything into its excessively glossy base</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Mon, 13 Dec 2010 04:03:00 EST. With a couple of <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/01/24/pentax-optio-h90-and-optio-l10-cameras-briefly-leak-out/">leaks</a> to get our <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/01/25/pentax-optio-l-10-h90-and-e-90-leak-out-in-full/">mouths watering</a>, Pentax has at last confirmed its new trio of Optio cameras: the I-10 (pictured), H90, and E90. The SLR-inspired I-10 sports a 5x zoom, 12.1 megapixel sensor, 2.7-inch LCD and 720p / 30fps video capture. There's also optical image stabilization, smile capture, and face detection to round out the feature set -- not bad for a $300 camera. Meanwhile, the similarly classy, 80s-inspired H90 checks most of the same boxes (including HD video, 12.1 megapixel stills and 5x zoom) with a $180 pricetag -- we can only guess its sacrifices involve a downgraded lens, sensor or general sense of class. Finally, the E90 throws off all classic pretension and does up 10 megapixels, 3x zoom and a 2.7-inch LCD for a mere $100. No optical stabilization here, but the 6400 ISO and Digital Shake Reduction mode should help out a little bit. All three cameras ship next month. PR is after the break. <div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/pentax-confirms-optio-i-10-h90-and-e90-budget-friendly-shooters/">Pentax confirms Optio I-10, H90, and E90 budget-friendly shooters</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/pentax-confirms-optio-i-10-h90-and-e90-budget-friendly-shooters/#2649292"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2010/01/pentax-optio-2010-1-pr_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/pentax-confirms-optio-i-10-h90-and-e90-budget-friendly-shooters/#2649283"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2010/01/pentax-optio-2010-10-pr_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/pentax-confirms-optio-i-10-h90-and-e90-budget-friendly-shooters/#2649291"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2010/01/pentax-optio-2010-2-pr_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/pentax-confirms-optio-i-10-h90-and-e90-budget-friendly-shooters/#2649290"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2010/01/pentax-optio-2010-3-pr_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/pentax-confirms-optio-i-10-h90-and-e90-budget-friendly-shooters/#2649289"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2010/01/pentax-optio-2010-4-pr_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/01/25/pentax-confirms-optio-i-10-h90-and-e90-budget-friendly-shooter/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Pentax confirms Optio I-10, H90, and E90 budget-friendly shooters</em></a></p><p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/digitalcameras/" rel="tag">Digital Cameras</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/01/25/pentax-confirms-optio-i-10-h90-and-e90-budget-friendly-shooter/">Pentax confirms Optio I-10, H90, and E90 budget-friendly shooters</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Mon, 25 Jan 2010 17:41:00 EST. We caught a glimpse of <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/01/24/pentax-optio-h90-and-optio-l10-cameras-briefly-leak-out/">some new Pentax cams yesterday</a>, and now the new Optio I-10, E-10, and two-tone H90 have leaked out in full. We still don't kow a ton about them, but the higher-res images mean we know some basic specs: the I-10 cops an old-school vibe and features a 5x zoom on top of a 12.1 megapixel sensor, the H90 also has a 5x zoom, and the E90 looks to be a little more basic with a 3x zoom and a 10.1 megapixel sensor. So... let's get official with these soon, okay?<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/01/25/pentax-optio-l-10-h90-and-e-90-leak-out-in-full/">Pentax Optio I-10, H90, and E-90 leak out in full</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Mon, 25 Jan 2010 11:33:00 EST. Remember when playing <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/quake">Quake III</a> at a decent resolution required a $5,000 Alienware? Man, those were the days. Now, we can't help but be thankful for a few special Nokia handsets (the N95 8GB, E90 and N82 in particular) that can all handle the game by their lonesome. In fact, the latest version of the software adds a few remarkably awesome extras. For starters, users can now take advantage of on-phone server support, meaning that your handset can actually host a Quake III multiplayer battle (and may we recommend the server name "trashaccident?"). Also of note, the devs have tossed in support for Bluetooth mice and keyboards. We know, right? In case you've mastered the time-honored QWERTY configuration to the point that using such keyboards bores you right into a peaceful slumber, we present to you this beacon of intelligent industrial design and usability, the device known simply as "E9000." The <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/e90">Nokia E90</a> rip features what can only be described as one of the most nightmarish bastardizations of the QWERTY layout we've ever seen, planting a touchpad (or something) square in the middle of where you'd expect a bunch of keys to be. The good news, we guess, is that the "Fashion" label silkscreened onto the back should reassure buyers that they're investing in some of the finest lookin' kit money can buy -- just don't expect to be able to type worth a damn.<br /><br />[Thanks, facelessloser]<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/handsets/" rel="tag">Handsets</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/others/" rel="tag">Others</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/gsm/" rel="tag">GSM</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/09/15/keepin-it-real-fake-part-cxli-if-the-nokia-e90-had-the-keyboa/">Keepin' it real fake, part CXLI: if the Nokia E90 had the keyboard from hell</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Mon, 15 Sep 2008 05:58:00 EST. In case we needed any proof that the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/01/30/nokia-e90-gets-a-minor-update/">revised E90</a> with flush keys was the real deal, this ought to do it: Cellpassion spotted the so-called E90 v2 strutting its stuff at MWC last week, and yeah, apart from the revised keypad, there's not a heck of a lot to write home about. Nokia apparently says that the revised unit will be in retail channels in the next few weeks, though we suppose that comes as little consolation to existing owners with jacked-up screens where the keys have hit.<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/handsets/" rel="tag">Handsets</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/nokia/" rel="tag">Nokia</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/symbian/" rel="tag">Symbian</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/gsm/" rel="tag">GSM</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/edge/" rel="tag">EDGE</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/hsdpa/" rel="tag">HSDPA</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/umts/" rel="tag">UMTS</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/02/19/yeah-the-updated-nokia-e90-is-real/">Yeah, the updated Nokia E90 is real</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Tue, 19 Feb 2008 17:47:00 EST. We'd heard reports from <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/E90/">E90</a> owners in the past that the keyboard has a bit of a fatal flaw: it's high enough to touch the screen when the handset's closed, transferring whatever your nasty hands left on the keys to the display. We're now hearing that a "v2" model has started to circulate with a totally redesigned QWERTY board, though, that fixes the issue by making the whole thing flush (check out the picture). Any hold-outs going to reconsider buying into the Communicator craze now with this revelation?<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/news/item/6615_The_E90_v2_photo_proof.php">All About Symbian</a>]<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/handsets/" rel="tag">Handsets</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/nokia/" rel="tag">Nokia</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/symbian/" rel="tag">Symbian</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/gsm/" rel="tag">GSM</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/edge/" rel="tag">EDGE</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/hsdpa/" rel="tag">HSDPA</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/umts/" rel="tag">UMTS</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/01/30/nokia-e90-gets-a-minor-update/">Nokia E90 gets a minor update?</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Wed, 30 Jan 2008 10:48:00 EST. <div align="left">We've said it before -- though, not that many <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/08/02/keepin-it-real-fake-part-lxviii-the-edible-iphone-edition/">times</a> -- <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/kirf">Keepin' it real fake</a> goods can bring giant smiles with inexpensive and sometimes <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/07/22/keepin-it-real-fake-part-lxvii-believable-t650-edition/">functional beauty</a>. The illusion is, of course, smashed once this pretty decent E90 clone is sprung open to reveal the set of stereo speakers that flank the screen and the significantly changed keypad. Though this isn't a deal breaker from our standpoint, as the layout looks pretty sharp, it features 2 QVGA screens, packs a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, and only weighs in at 125 grams. If it rolls with quad-band with EDGE, we'd gamble it'd be a pretty popular -- if it proves inexpensive -- set.</div>

It may lack the necessary internal gizmos to grant us 3G data this side of the pond, but that really didn't stop us from touching, holding, and loving <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/02/12/nokias-e90-communicator-launched/">Nokia's E90 Communicator</a> just the same. Check out as we bring the latest, greatest QWERTY device out of Espoo from sealed box to power-up in the gallery here -- or if getting your hands on one of your own is more your thing, rumor has it Nokia should be launching it stateside within a couple months. It's no secret that the actual <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/02/12/nokias-e90-communicator-launched/">launch</a> of Nokia's <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/E90/">E90</a> was <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/06/11/nokias-not-enthusiastic-about-touchscreens-apple-lg-and/">imminent</a>, and while you've had plenty of time to read <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/05/23/nokia-e90-gets-reviewed/">reviews</a>, stare at <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/02/09/press-shot-of-nokias-e90-communicator-emerges/">press shots</a>, and drool over <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/03/27/nokia-e90-hands-on-again/">hands-on</a> photo sessions, now it's time to party. Nokia Communicator fan? If you've quite not found the cash or willingness to spring for the newest Communicator (the E90), take a look at the mobile-review review (after the break) and sink your teeth into it. <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/02/09/nokias-e90-communicator-first-pics/">We've peeped</a> the E90 <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/03/27/nokia-e90-hands-on-again/">a few times</a> already, but it's good to have another stab at the thing (yeah, we admit -- we're too close to the E90 now). Mobile-review's summary? Here you go: weak vibration, good reception quality, excellent email handling and web browsing capability, good and tactile QWERTY-ness and two great screens -- and it seems less like a "smartphone" and more like a portable PC. We like the comeback of the Series 60 platform (3rd. edition, FP1) in the E90 as well. All in all, this Nokia beauty looks incredibly capable for the user who will want one.<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/handsets/" rel="tag">Handsets</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/nokia/" rel="tag">Nokia</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/gsm/" rel="tag">GSM</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/gprs/" rel="tag">GPRS</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/edge/" rel="tag">EDGE</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/umts/" rel="tag">UMTS</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/05/23/nokia-e90-gets-reviewed/">Nokia E90 gets reviewed</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Wed, 23 May 2007 16:14:00 EST. If you'd been combing through all the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/03/27/nokia-e90-hands-on-again/">hands-on</a> <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/02/09/nokias-e90-communicator-first-pics/">pictures</a> of Nokia's E90 Communicator hoping you'd be the first one on the planet to receive shipment, we're sorry to spoil your dreams. Apparently, Nokia has already auctioned off the very first E90 to be commercially sold in the world at a <a href="http://www.engadget.com/search/?q=charity">charity</a> auction in Jakarta, Indonesia. Hartono Gunawan (center) took home the device after throwing down nearly $5,000 to be first on the worldwide block, and considering that the proceeds are going to UNICEF, we're sure that gaping hole in his wallet can now be filled with warm, fuzzy feelings. Of course, judging by the look on his face, we're wondering if this guy was already experiencing buyer's remorse.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.slashphone.com/87/7239.html">Slashphone</a>]<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/handsets/" rel="tag">Handsets</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/nokia/" rel="tag">Nokia</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/symbian/" rel="tag">Symbian</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/gsm/" rel="tag">GSM</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/gprs/" rel="tag">GPRS</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/edge/" rel="tag">EDGE</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/hsdpa/" rel="tag">HSDPA</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/05/21/first-nokia-e90-communicator-auctioned-off-for-5000/">First Nokia E90 Communicator auctioned off for $5000</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Mon, 21 May 2007 14:27:00 EST. We couldn't resist the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/02/12/hands-on-with-nokias-e90-and-e61i/">Nokia E90</a> yet again, she's just so beautiful. Big -- really big -- and beautiful. That huge widescreen display, that clicky, tactile hinge, that enormous keyboard, oh yes. We only wish they might have thinned this thing down a little and chopped off the phone on the lid -- the E90 thing is a powerful palmtop device, but your regular phone with 12-key? Fact is, a part of us is hoping that we can <em>will</em> an HSDPA 850 / 1700 / 1900-sporting Nokia E90 into existence, but we shouldn't have to; the need for firms like Nokia and Sony Ericsson to wake up and spend the extra few bucks to shove global 3G radios into every last one of their phones is painfully obvious. Anyway, numerous readers have pointed out that the document in the E90's <a href="http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2007/03/02/nokia-e90-hits-fcc-with-lots-of-3g-bands-destination-t-mobile/">FCC filing</a> referencing WCDMA on the 850, 1700, and 1900MHz bands is merely pointing out (for no good reason, may we add) the FCC's own radiation limits on those bands, and is probably not indicative of what bands are present within any particular device. We personally wouldn't think the FCC needs to be reminded of those limits in a test report, but perhaps we'll let the technicians be technicians here and we'll stick to our writin' gig. Wait up just a second, let us get this straight: after years of teasing Americans with <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/09/26/nokia-n95-gets-real/">3G smartphone</a> after <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/01/08/hands-on-with-the-nokia-n76/">sweet 3G smartphone</a> -- none of which packed even a lick of compatibility on US bands -- Nokia's going to rock its newest undisputed king of the hill, the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/02/12/nokias-e90-communicator-launched/">E90</a>, with every band we could possibly hope for? Of course, we don't want to count our chickens 'fore they're hatched <a href="http://cellphones.engadget.com/2005/11/24/cingular-branded-n80-wins-fcc-approval/">lest we get fooled again</a>, but the presence of Nokia's latest QWERTY-based Communicator device in the FCC's trusted hands sporting WCDMA on the 850, 1700, and 1900MHz bands is a <em>very</em> promising sign, indeed. As a refresher, T-Mobile will be launching <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/10/06/t-mobile-details-3g-plans/">its WCDMA network</a> this year -- the last of the four national carriers to go 3G -- on the freshly-minted 1700MHz band, leaving future users without much of a handset selection from which to choose (as in, zero devices so far and <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/02/12/motorolas-new-qs-q-gsm-and-q-q9/">few</a> on the roadmap). But hey, with phones like this seemingly sitting in T-Mobile's pipeline, that's just fine by us.<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/handsets/" rel="tag">Handsets</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/nokia/" rel="tag">Nokia</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/t-mobile/" rel="tag">T-Mobile</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/symbian/" rel="tag">Symbian</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/gsm/" rel="tag">GSM</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/gprs/" rel="tag">GPRS</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/edge/" rel="tag">EDGE</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/hsdpa/" rel="tag">HSDPA</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/umts/" rel="tag">UMTS</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/03/02/nokia-e90-hits-fcc-with-lots-of-3g-bands-destination-t-mobile/">Nokia E90 hits FCC with lots of 3G bands -- destination T-Mobile?</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Fri, 02 Mar 2007 19:31:00 EST. Our envy runs deep on this one -- My-Symbian somehow managed to score Nokia's new megaphone (well, not "megaphone," but you know what we mean), the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/02/12/nokias-e90-communicator-launched/">E90</a>, long enough for a comprehensive rundown. They seem pretty delighted with the device's feature set, and we can't say we blame them; what's not to like? Stand-out goodness included the revised keyboard with concave keys, full-function external display running S60 with full access to the phone's functionality, integrated GPS, and a fabulous internal display with 800 pixels of horizontal resolution. My-Symbian wasn't as pleased to see that some of Series 80's unique functionality disappeared along with the operating system itself, but on the whole, it seems that S60 has filled in the gap pretty smoothly.<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/handsets/" rel="tag">Handsets</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/nokia/" rel="tag">Nokia</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/symbian/" rel="tag">Symbian</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/gsm/" rel="tag">GSM</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/gprs/" rel="tag">GPRS</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/edge/" rel="tag">EDGE</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/hsdpa/" rel="tag">HSDPA</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/umts/" rel="tag">UMTS</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/02/12/nokia-e90-communicator-reviewed/">Nokia E90 Communicator reviewed</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Mon, 12 Feb 2007 16:08:00 EST. We had only a few brief, fleeing moments with Nokia's new powerhouse <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/02/12/nokias-e90-communicator-launched/">E90</a> mega mobile communicator, but it should come as no surprise that we liked what we saw -- a lot. Sure, it's a little mammoth, kind of like two phones sandwiched together -- but that's the price you pay for real ultimate power. Oh yeah, we saw the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/02/12/nokias-e61i-and-e65-slider-announced-style-for-suits/">E61i</a>, too -- not a whole lot going on there, we're all pretty well familiar with how that one goes, having seen and used the E61.<br />

You saw the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/02/09/nokias-e90-communicator-first-pics/">first photos</a> right here on <em>Engadget</em>. Now, Nokia brings the official specs on their S60-series E90 Communicator. Like we heard, it brings quad-band GSM, WiFi, and HSDPA radios along with a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash (and second up front for video calls). Better yet, it does indeed pack integrated GPS and Nokia Maps for all you corporate jet-setters. Expect the E90 to hit in Q2 (volume shipments in Q3) for an unsubsidized price of between "750-800" -- they don't say but we're thinking that's euros or about $1000 of the green stuff. Damn, best put this one on the corporate account where it belongs.<br />

Check it QWERTY geeks, we've got a trio of clandestine snaps of Nokia's oft rumored, but never seen <a href="http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2007/02/06/nokias-e90-set-for-3gsm-release-next-week/">E90</a> communicator. As you can see from the pics, the E90 does indeed pack a dual-hinge allowing it to open like a <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2004/05/13/first-look-at-the-nokia-9500/">9500</a> or fold-up flat like the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2004/09/08/nokia-announces-9300-but-youll-have-to-wait/">9300</a>. And while you're checkin' the cameraphone snaps, know this: according to our new best friend and source -- "Brando" -- it does indeed pump S60 at its core and boasts a solid 3.2 megapixel cam. But damn, you see that bigazz main display? Could that be the rumored 800 x 352 pixel resolution? We'll know soon enough -- 3GSM is next week where we're pretty sure this will see an official launch.<br /><br /><strong>Update</strong>: A bit more detail: HSDPA (yes), GPS (no), quad-band GSM (yes), WiFi (of course), internal display (800 x 352), external display (240 x 320). Both screens support 16 million colors and all applications can run on either screen -- launch an app on the external display, open and continue working with a massive increase in pixel-estate.<br /><br />[Thanks, Brando]<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/nokia-e90-communicator-first-pics/">Nokia E90 Communicator: first pics!</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/nokia-e90-communicator-first-pics/#156094"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2007/02/tr_e90-closed-engadget_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/nokia-e90-communicator-first-pics/#156093"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2007/02/tr_e90-open-engadget_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/nokia-e90-communicator-first-pics/#156092"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2007/02/tr_e90-with-e61-engadget_thumbnail.jpg" alt="E61 and E90" title="E61 and E90" /></a></div><p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/cellphones/" rel="tag">Cellphones</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/02/09/nokias-e90-communicator-first-pics/">Nokia's E90 Communicator: first pics!</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Fri, 09 Feb 2007 13:36:00 EST. Check it QWERTY geeks, we've got a trio of clandestine snaps of Nokia's oft rumored, but never seen <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/02/06/nokias-e90-set-for-3gsm-release-next-week/">E90</a> communicator. We'll know soon enough -- 3GSM is next week where we're pretty sure this will see an official launch.<br /><strong><br />Update</strong>: A bit more detail: HSDPA (yes), GPS (no), quad-band GSM (yes), WiFi (of course), internal display (800 x 352), external display (240 x 320).
