Leaning in your chair while gaming? It's a natural thing -- we all do it. However, it's rare that the chair helps, doing its part to increase the thrill factor by tipping you even closer to the laminate flooring. That's exactly what the X-Dream Gyroxus Gaming Chair offers, motion gaming in a somewhat portable package rather more friendly for the living room than some alternatives we've seen. However, it's also rather more limited, working with either the Xbox 360 or PS3, courtesy of custom controllers, but having no room for a wheel and pedals, so Gran Turismo junkies will have to choose between this and their G27. Then there's the cost: a rather steep £399.95. If that doesn't sound bad, consider that this chair has been available to rumble American behinds for over two years now and is currently selling for $250 -- well less than half what UK gamers are being asked to pay. Worth the premium? Let the video after the break be your guide.

  • Gamerox gamer chair keeps you on your toes, so to speak

We've been acquainted with all sorts of strange exercise / gaming apparatuses, and while the Gamerox is far from being the strangest, it's pretty high up there. Rather than just letting your kid grab any nearby stool and have a seat while melting their brain on games for hours on end, why not force their nates into this contraption? Put simply, it forces kids to continually balance and adjust in order to stay seated. Will it really tone muscles and improve posture? Doubtful, but it's practically guaranteed to frustrate and / or enrage your offspring.[Via Slashgear]

A HDTV arcade-style gaming chair of course! You have to check this homemade gaming chair out. These guys took a steering wheel, mounted it to a metal chassis, and put a Sony TV at just the right spot to make a great gaming system. They could have made the ultimate gaming system with our help though.OK. The chair they use is fine. But a PS2! Come on guys, lets step it up to the next level. Use a Xbox 360 that is hooked up to a HDTV. This is a must if you want to create a realistic gaming experience. The link will provide you with step by step instructions on how to build this bad boy. But please, please, use an HDTV and send us pictures.via Lifehacker (Link)
