With the first footage we've seen of the Wii's Alone in the Dark in action, the game's producer, Maxime Loppin, shows off the title to JeuxVideo. To be honest, we know next to nothing of what Monsieur Loppin is saying, but sometimes actions speak louder than words. After the break we've embedded footage of Loppin playing the game (he starts around 1:57). A nice touch: by moving the Wiimote and nunchuk away from each other in a "coat opening motion" players can view Carnby's inventory, which he conveniently keeps inside his coat. And if anyone is feeling super ambitious and wants to translate, be our guest.

Finally! Concrete details about Wild Arms are slowly coming out of Japan. Gamers have been waiting for even the tiniest morsel of information since the game was first announced last September. New scans from Famitsu, available at Jeux-France, showcase a new look for the game, as it treads into strategy RPG territory. While fans are always welcome a new Wild Arms, some are disappointed the game is straying from its roots. With Jeanne d'Arc and Final Fantasy Tactics also coming on PSP, some are wondering if another high-profile SRPG is really all that necessary on our handheld.Regardless, the game certainly looks pretty. It appears the title will also have connectivity with Wild Arms 5 on PS2, so true fans of the series will want to pick up both. We hope to unearth more details and screenshots in the coming weeks.

French gaming site Jeux France has what it claims is the first images of the new NiGHTS title for Wii, from magazine scans of Portuguese magazine Maxi Consola. (We're so multicultural.) So far, NiGHTS has been an extremely persistent rumor; this is the either the first concrete evidence of the title's existence or the cleverest Photoshop effort to date. The magazine scans feature an interview with Takashi Iizuka (here written Takeshi), a Sega developer who's had a hand or two in every Sonic game since 1994 as well as the original NiGHTS Into Dreams. Our Portuguese is a bit pathetic, but Play Nintendo has translated the interview. The game is purported to have a two player mode and some online capabilities. Jeux France purports that Sega will make an announcement early April.

French site Jeux France has "plus d'images" (which, we think, means "more images") of potential DS GOTY Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Tamashii Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan -- aka Ouendan 2. The new scans are taken from the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu and reveal that Ippongi Ryuta (pictured, above left, in determined pose) returns, while a newbie called Saionji Hayato wears an astronaut outfit in at least one space-based level. Ouendan 2 is still on for a 2007 release in Japan, which could translate to a 2008 Westernization. Hit Jeux France for more scanner love. [Image credit: Jeux France / Famitsu]

A scan for Wario The Thief has shown up over at French gaming site Jeux-France. The scan, which originates from Famitsu, popular Japanese gaming mag, and shows some of Wario's new costumes for the game. Featuring what is being called as Space Wario, Graffitti Wario and Doctor Wario, each costume gives Wario special abilities.Obviously, each of these special abilities will be necessary to pass the game's many obstacles. Currently set for release in January of the next year in Japan, nothing has been said in regards to a release in other territories.See also: Wario gets his theft on Wario The Thief Wi-Fi compatible?

Tales of the World isn't the only Tales game heading to Japan. Bandai-Namco is adding yet another excellent Tales game to the PSP library, which continues to expand, much to the anguish of American PSP owners. Jeux France has tons of new screenshots of Tales of Destiny 2, a port of the popular PlayStation 2 RPG. Unlike Tales of the World, this game features some old school 2D graphics. However, with large, eye-catching sprites, and some cool battle animations, ToD 2 will most likely look quite stunning on the portable screen. Expect it to hit Japan in 2007, and potentially never come out in the US. Boo.

French website Jeux France has scored tons of new pictures of the upcoming PSP-exclusive Jeanne d'Arc. As you may know, we at PSP Fanboy are highly anticipating this game, and by looking at your comments to the official trailer, it looks like you guys can't wait either. Hopefully, SCEA will get off their butts and announce a US version of this incredible-looking game soon.

  • EGM Rumor Mill: Wii Sports includes 30 games and Rez sequel coming

According to a post over on a blog at Jeux-France, the latest issue of EGM has some interesting rumors to share. The two of greatest concern to Wii Fanboys is the proposal of a Rez sequel releasing for the Wii, along with Nintendo's Wii Sports title including 30 total games. A sequel for Rez on the Wii is just about the greatest thing we've ever read. The problem with a rumor like this is that it sounds so good that it just can't be true. We want it, we want it bad, but likely could not survive the fall should it turn out to be fake. We'll remain as suspicious of this rumor as possible, for the time being. The idea of Wii Sports including over 30 different games is feasible and likely true. This could mean that Wii Sports would have a total of 24 games that we have yet to see (assuming that Wii Orchestra is included in the game and not a title in and of itself). Nintendo could get away with offering half as many games in Wii Sports and ask for full retail price, so the idea of 30 games being a part of the experience is wonderful. [Via Codename Revolution]

Rikimaru and Ayame return to quench their thirst for sticky hot blood. From Software released some new shots of the upcoming Tenchu Dark Shadow yesterday. Of the images, a couple are worth special note. The game's stylized stealth-kill scenes seem to have made the transition to the handheld as a couple shots show an unsuspecting enemy getting blasted with what could be a bomb or magical attack on the top screen and the death shown in wonderful detail on the bottom. The game is going to be WiFi compatible and slated to release next month in Japan.   [Via GoNintendo]
