Apparently, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/HTC/">HTC</a> is having a little trouble keeping people with cameras out of its offices, as evidenced by this totally great spy shot of a what appears to be a bunch of (or two) new phones. We're familiar with quite of few of these devices, like the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/kaiser">TyTn II,</a> <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/TouchCruise/">Touch Cruise</a>, and <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/Touch/">Touch</a> you see in the upper row, but things get a little stickier down below. Save for that <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/P3470/">P3470</a> that's second from left, we have no clue what those slick looking square numbers are. The far left model and the far right might be the same device, but its hard to tell. It also looks like all the devices in this picture are using Windows Mobile, but we're holding out hope that maybe the model on the far right boots Android... and <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/04/08/htc-throwing-uk-bash-on-may-6-but-what-does-it-mean/">soon</a>.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.intomobile.com/2008/04/19/little-help-which-htc-devices-are-these-is-the-lower-right-even-out.html">IntoMobile</a>]<br /><br /><strong>Update:</strong> So we figure that one of the two on the right is likely the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/03/04/eyes-on-with-t-mobiles-mda-compact-iv/">MDA compact IV</a> for T-Mobile, although that still doesn't explain the generous QWERTY board depicted over there on the left. Can't you just feel the excitement building? Thanks, Marios!<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/handsets/" rel="tag">Handsets</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/htc/" rel="tag">HTC</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/04/20/htc-spy-shot-reveals-handful-of-new-phones/">HTC spy shot reveals handful of new phones</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Sun, 20 Apr 2008 14:02:00 EST. Europeans looking for a lower-end GPS-equipped <a href="http://www.engadgetmobile.com/category/htc/">HTC</a> phone have another option today, in the form of the P3470, previously known as the <a href="http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2008/01/16/htc-pharos-greek-for-next-please/">Pharos</a>. While it only has quad-band EDGE and a 200MHz CPU, you can at least expect the usual complement of a 2 megapixel camera, 256MB ROM / 128MB RAM, microSD, Bluetooth 2.0, and a roomy enough 2.8-inch QVGA flush touchscreen (&aacute; la the Touch). It'll be out later this month on Orange in the UK, France, Spain, and the Netherlands, for &euro;449 ($650 -- so much for the low-end price tag).<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/htc-p3470-is-only-edge-but-has-gps-4/">HTC P3470 is only EDGE, but has GPS</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/htc-p3470-is-only-edge-but-has-gps-4/#633932"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2008/02/htc-p3470-01_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/htc-p3470-is-only-edge-but-has-gps-4/#633931"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2008/02/htc-p3470-02_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/htc-p3470-is-only-edge-but-has-gps-4/#633930"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2008/02/htc-p3470-03_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/htc-p3470-is-only-edge-but-has-gps-4/#633929"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2008/02/htc-p3470-04_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/cellphones/" rel="tag">Cellphones</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/gps/" rel="tag">GPS</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/02/11/htc-p3470-is-only-edge-but-has-gps/">HTC P3470 is only EDGE, but has GPS</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Mon, 11 Feb 2008 00:00:00 EST. Our eyes! This fat little guy, bearing a face only a mother could love, is said to be the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/htc">HTC</a> "Pharos" (no, not <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/01/03/pharos-announces-gps-phone-no-really-thats-the-name/">that</a> Pharos) with a date with destiny as early as March, making a CeBIT announcement a distinct possibility. It'll apparently go by the name P3470 in HTC's lineup, clearly shoring up the very, very low end of the company's line with a mere 200MHz TI OMAP850 core, 256MB of ROM and 128MB of RAM, Bluetooth, integrated GPS, and a 2 megapixel camera -- not <em>terrible</em> specs, we suppose, until you take a good, hard gaze at the darned thing. No word on whether it'll be crossing the pond, but we're not going to get too caught up on that one.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.phonemag.com/htc-pharos-p3470-entry-level-gps-smartphone-01234.php">PHONE Magazine</a> and <a href="http://www.ubergizmo.com/15/archives/2008/01/htc_pharos_3470_smartphone.html">UberGizmo</a>]<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/handsets/" rel="tag">Handsets</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/htc/" rel="tag">HTC</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/windows-mobile/" rel="tag">Windows Mobile</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/gsm/" rel="tag">GSM</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/edge/" rel="tag">EDGE</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/01/16/htc-pharos-greek-for-next-please/">HTC Pharos, Greek for "next, please"</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Wed, 16 Jan 2008 23:53:00 EST.
