Google scales back town hall meetings following leaks

Google's weekly all-hands meetings have quickly become a source of leaks, and the company is apparently taking an aggressive approach to curbing those leaks: it's limiting the meetings themselves. The Verge has learned that CEO Sundar Pichai sent company-wide email (appropriately leaked to the media) revealing plans to drop the bi-weekly, all-encompassing "TGIF" meetings in favor of monthly gatherings devoted solely to "product launches and business strategies." While there were multiple reasons for the change, Pichai wasn't shy about citing the frequent leaking as a factor.

Starting next week, all 140 episodes and four films of Futurama will be available on Hulu, Variety reports. The streaming service announced in July that it struck a deal with 20th Century Fox to be the exclusive streaming home to Bob's Burgers and would host Fox's slate of animated shows, including Futurama. The show stopped streaming on Netflix entirely at the beginning of July.

Back in the '90s, a Friday like today would've brought me endless excitement. Obviously, it meant the weekend had arrived and thus no school and no waking up early. But it also meant TGIF -- the best chunk of programming of the entire week in the opinion of tweens across the country. While TGIF is no more, you will be able to recreate your own lineup tonight if you wish because Hulu has added iconic TGIF series Boy Meets World and Dinosaurs to its streaming service along with Home Improvement. Thank goodness it's Friday.

  • Rumor claims Netflix's next TV revival is 'Fuller House'

While Netflix has been petitioned and begged to bring back any number of shows, TV Line's Michael Ausiello reports that it's already zeroed in on the next one, and it's Full House. A reboot reportedly named Fuller House (seriously) is "thisclose" to happening, as a continuation of the original show focusing on DJ Tanner (Candace Cameron Bure) and her friend Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber). Of course, these rumors sometimes work out (X-Files), and sometimes don't (Legend of Zelda). The successor to Boy Meets World is currently airing on the Disney channel, and Netflix itself just launched a new version of Inspector Gadget. Since it's the 90s that are back -- Firefly fans will have to settle for this -- and not the 00s, do you have any new requests for rebooting, or would you rather the trend flame out as quickly as it has sprouted.

  • TGI Fridays' mistletoe delivery drone draws blood

If you think a crowded restaurant is one of the worst places to fly a drone in, photographer Georgine Benvenuto will most likely agree with you. After all, the mistletoe drone TGI Fridays unleashed in its Sheepshead Bay, New York location didn't lead to a kiss -- instead, it took a small chunk off her nose and clipped her chin. According to Courier Life's Brooklyn Daily (where she worked), the operator encouraged the reporter with Benvenuto to land a 10-inch drone on her hand during a demo on December 4th. While it was the smaller of the two drones on site, and the propellers were only five inches in length, their blades were both sharp and uncovered.

Whoa whoa whoa, why is Alex doing The Queue on Friday? Nobody likes that guy! Get out of here, Alex! Never. vocenoctum asked: I know a lot of folks that don't currently play Warlocks will try it with Mists, hopefully the changes make it fun enough to play for many. Do you think the changes are big enough that some current lock's will leave the class? (I didn't play a paladin pre-cata, but know a couple ret pal's that just ditched the class as "being too different".)
