What's the most annoying technical glitch you've ever run into? Have you ever found yourself cursing loudly at your "favorite" Internet Service Provider? Are you tired of apps that suddenly crash for no reason after they've been working just fine for months? Today on TUAW TV Live, I will dish on the crashes, bombs and flat-out customer service screwups that make me furious. Co-host Shawn "Doc Rock" Boyd is busy remaking Joe Versus the Volcano (don't ask...). To join in to watch the live feed and participate in the chat, just click here or click that image you see at the top of this post. You'll join us on the AOL On Network. If you can't watch the entire show today, come back to this page within 24 hours to see the video below or visit http://tuaw.com/tuawtvlive to see the latest show. If you tuned into TUAW TV Live and you're seeing nothing, don't feel bad -- neither am I. We're having problems with our streaming provider. We will reschedule today's show with Sam Levin for sometime in the near future, and listen to Sam's podcast, AppMInute, to listen to some audio we recorded today. We thank you for your patience.

It's time for our irregular check-in: how's things with your Wii? Any difficulties? Broken straps or remotes? Disc read errors? We've certainly seen fewer problems than with certain other systems, but that doesn't mean they don't happen. Share your lamentations and horror stories. Our sympathies are with you.[Image from one early story here.]

Occasionally, people e-mail us looking for advice, and reader Ryan is the latest. He picked up some screen protectors and applied them without reading the instructions (tsk), and then found out that they were screen specific ... and the one on his touchscreen is meant for the top screen, and it's wreaking havoc with controller input. But that's only half the problem. The important half? He can't get it off! Since we have a similar problem -- we need to remove a worn screen protector that doesn't want to come off -- we thought we might ask for opinions and advice here, and see if anyone else has any issues that the community might be able to help with. So, having any issues? Post and let's see if we can't get 'em settled.[Image found here. We dunno how to fix that one.]

  • Wii Warm Up: Update issues?

Seems that some of the users at the official Nintendo forums are reporting some post-update problems that vary from system to system. How about our dear readers? Any message issues, mysteriously non-working Wiimotes, or even glitching VC games? The forum reports make things seem pretty bad, but we haven't discovered any problems. All our controllers work, and we've successfully sent messages post-update, and even tested some keyboards. But what about you?

Hello readers, Sorry for the technical difficulties over the long weekend; however, I'm happy to report that things should be performing more the way you'd expect them to now. Comments are back up and running. I just did a test one on another post. Thanks for bearing with us. More content to come soon...
