Teddy Ruxpin may be one of the iconic toys of the eighties but, let's face it, he was in need of a little update. After all, kids are used to looking at screens and a lot of them don't even know what a cassette tape is. Teddy Ruxpin is back -- again -- and this time, the creepy/adorable stuffed toy comes with animated, emoji-like eyes. It can even suspiciously narrow its eyes at you, like it already knows you'd want to toss it in the trash after it creeps you out one too many times in the middle of the night. Unlike the original bear that had a slot for cassette tapes on its butt, the new Teddy Ruxpin designed by Wicked Cool Toys has a 4GB hard-drive heart that stores 40 stories.

London installed solar-powered recharging benches in public spaces that also monitor pollution and noise levels. And not one but two glue formulas are making waves: There are the powdered small glue balls that become sticky when pressed together and the MIT hydrogel that's made mostly of water, is super flexible and can conduct electricity.
