World of WarCrafts spotlights art and creativity by WoW players, including fan art, cooking, comics, cosplay, music, fan fiction and more. Sample the whole spectrum on our Arts and Crafts in WoW page. I'm in a music kind of mood it seems -- and today's offering weaves one of the most compelling pieces of the Wrath of the Lich King with hypnotic beats in a trance remix that has been in the works for a long, long time. Back in March of this year, World of WarCrafts got in touch with Vedrim, creator of the "Bound by Bone" mix and chatted with him about music and the creation of his unique mixes. This week, Vedrim returns to the scene with his long-awaited remix of "O Thanagor," more commonly known as "Arthas' Theme" from the Wrath of the Lich King opening cinematic. Did I say long-awaited? I meant it -- this mix has been an astonishing seven months in the making. We got a chance to get caught up with Vedrim and ask him about his latest work; keep reading for more after the break.

The atmospheric listening music for this week's World of WarCrafts comes to us from Rehmaar of <Knights of Valiant Fury> on US Destromath-H. This original, orchestral-style composition, "Knights of the Valiant Fury Overture," is dedicated to the composer's guild. "We are a radical bunch on the Horde side of Destromath, but we have an awesome time playing together and this is my gift to them," writes Rehmaar. "The piece captures what it means to be a member of our guild and depicts the struggles and glory our characters face in Azeroth." How's that for some faction and guild pride? Join us after the break for two entirely -- and we do mean entirely -- different musical takes on Azeroth.

If your ticket to a heart-pumping raid soundtrack is MrVoletron's WoW-flavored remixes, then you'll undoubtedly be a fan of Vedrim as well. (In point of fact, MrVoletron's a fan, too.) Vedrim's "Bound by Bone" (above) weaves an irresistible combination of original music with Marrowgar's booming in-game commands. You'll never again fight Marrowgar without this song in your head. Follow our interview with Vedrim through the break, where we'll also show you his newest track, "The Maker's Fire." World of WarCrafts: We understand that "Bound by Bone" is in fact your very first remix effort. Bravo! What's your musical background? Vedrim: Music has always been a part of my life. I was surrounded by it from a very early age. My mother's side of the family has a strong musical history. She always played her own compositions on our piano throughout my childhood, and her father, Robert Harris, actually wrote the original theme music for the Spiderman TV show to go along with Paul Webster's lyrics.
