We warned you yesterday that Blizzard couldn't be trusted on the first day of April, but zut alors have they ever outdone themselves this year with no fewer than four separate pranks! If there's an alternate reality version of you who's equally dorky but much, much more gullible, he's about to pee himself. For instance, did you know that Lich King would be adding an awesome bard class to World of Warcraft or that WoW was coming to consoles with the decidedly old school Molten Core (there's even a trailer!)? Well, you must have heard about Tauren marines in StarCraft II, right? You haven't even seen Diablo II: Loot Pinata? In case you're wondering what Blizzard is doing with the hundreds of millions they're earning from World of Warcraft ... it's this. It's just this.

Sacre bleu! Something odd seems to have happened to our favorite sardonic online flash quiz for its March 31 edition (embedded above). Questions like "Repeat after me!" and a comparison between lines from Great Expectations and Jackass 2: The Movie seem completely out of pace with the game's usual punishing difficulty. Don't even get us started on the "repeat after me" Jack Attack, which could probably be completed by a mentally handicapped surrender monkeys (cheese-eating or non).We can only hope this is a one-time glitch, and not a trend that will last past through the beginning of the fourth month of the year ...

  • Beware: Tomorrow is April Fools' Day

Just a friendly reminder, folks, tomorrow is April Fool's Day, so be very careful about "breaking news" you might stumble upon. Whether it's Blue Hobbits or Wii.TV, just take what you read with a grain of salt until the clock strikes midnight. Here's some helpful advice: If it seems too good to be true, it probably is: We'd all love for Nintendo to suddenly give everyone who clicks a link a free Wii, but face it, it doesn't seem too likely. Sourcing is important: If a blockbuster April 1 story comes from unnamed sources or a mysteriously dead web site, remain skeptical. The least they could do is forge some documentation for their joke; make them work for it. Pimps at Sea is never coming out: It's a Bungie inside joke, and someone always manages to fall for it. Also, whatever Blizzard announces tomorrow is a lie, so just have a laugh. Duke Nukem Forever is never coming out: That 100% confirmed release date you'll read about tomorrow? Total baloney. Any questions? Here's a bunny with a pancake on its head.
