Summer doesn't officially begin for another month, but most of our favorite TV shows are ready to go on vacation now. Shows wrapping up their seasons this week include The Following, The Flash, Battle Creek and a few others. Of course, following Mad Men's finale last night is an even bigger, as David Letterman turns out the lights at The Late Show for the last time Wednesday night before Stephen Colbert takes over in September. Bungie is releasing a second Destiny expansion with House of Wolves, adding the Prison of Elders, Trials of Osiris and a few other wrinkles to its online shooter. Look after the break to check out each day's highlights, including trailers and let us know what you think (or what we missed).

Even if you're slow-burning instead of binging on House of Cards, you'll still need a few backups once you're through with Frank & Claire Underwood's world domination tour. Netflix has revealed release dates for most of its summer (winter in Australia) programming, ready to keep you inside where the AC is cool and the WiFi signal is strong. Of course, you can also check out the spring shows here, and if you need something this week there's Aziz Ansari and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Sense8, its sci-fi collaboration with the Wachowskis will hit streaming on June 5th, a week before Orange is the New Black season three and a month before its Wet Hot American Summer revival arrives July 17th. Also worth keeping an eye out for are the Nina Simone documentary on June 26th, and Canadian sci-fi thriller Between coming at some point in May. Check for the full list after the break, and update your calendars accordingly.

Video-streaming titan Netflix is set to continue its original production efforts with Between, an upcoming six-episode drama series. The story will be produced in partnership with Shomi, a video on-demand service from Canadian wireless carrier Rogers; and City, a television station based out of Toronto. Strangely enough, when Shomi's VOD offering was launched roughly a couple of months ago, it was pegged as a direct competitor to Netflix -- though that's clearly not going to be the case. Plot-wise, Between follows the story of a strange disease in a small town that has abolished everyone under 21 years old, and was created by Canada's own Michael McGowan, director of Still Mine and One Week, among other relatively popular indie films. No definite timing yet, but the series is going to premiere on Shomi and City in Canada, while the rest of the world will be able to catch it on Netflix.

Diamond Trust of London, the strategy title about the diamond trade, isn't the only game from Sleep is Death designer Jason Rohrer headed to the Nintendo DS. The ESRB lists an "Alt-Play: Jason Rohrer Anthology" featuring three of Rohrer's previous games, published by Sabarasa Entertainment. Included in the set are Gravitation, the two-player Between, and Rohrer's best-known game Passage, which is also available on iPhone. This DS collection, then, will be another option for those who want to feel terrible about their mortality on the go. Sabarasa's recent press releases list the Alt-Play collection as an "upcoming project," and confirm that it's being made for the DSiWare platform. It certainly makes sense as a download: it may be three games, but those are three very brief games. [Update: Sabarasa press releases also mention that Rohrer's puzzle game Primrose will be released separately on DSiWare.]

  • Drag and drop calendar items from Entourage to iCal

I don't know how long this secret affair has been going on, but apparently MacOSXHints caught a calendar event from Entourage sneaking over to iCal! Mmhm, that's right. Allegedly, it's possible to drag and drop *gasp!* a calendar event from Entourage right onto the iCal window. While it sounds like the event will retain all of its information, I'm not sure if that includes an alarm, if set. The event will also default to being an hour long once dropped onto iCal, so depending on your workflow and your typical schedule, this might or might not be handy.
