For one of our very last moviewatches, I've been looking for videos that spoke of our long love of World of Warcraft. Videos that explained why we were still here and playing after all of this time... and I couldn't find one better than Irdeen's Boom De Yada. After all, we love the whole of the crazy virtual world in which we all live. We'll see you all in game. Interested in the wide world of machinima? Yes folks, Adam has taken over Moviewatch for the week -- or rather, Adam or whoever he um, "convinces" to write it for him. You see, Mike Gray is away on paternity leave for a bit, celebrating a bundle of joy that was born to him and his wife last week. So you're stuck with me for a bit! And for today, we'll feature one of my favorite pieces of WoW machinima, Boom de Yada WoW-style by Irdeen and pals. One of the main reasons I like this piece so much is that it's accessible to a wide audience. You don't need to get every reference in it to appreciate it, but if you do, all the better. That makes it approachable for everyone from the WoW newbie to veteran, old-school Naxx raider. Interested in the wide world of machinima? We have new movies every weekday here on WoW Moviewatch! There's something we joke about in the super secret WoW blogger headquarters called the "BLIND timer." If we haven't posted a Moviewatch about The Craft of War: BLIND within every three to four months, we start getting tips and suggestions about the hot new movie featuring a blood elf rogue. That's the BLIND timer. It's a fairly natural phenomenon since WoW is constantly attracting new players, and someone brand new to the scene can't be expected to know every machinima that's happened in the past. Those new folks should get to enjoy the machinima that's come before, just like us old fogeys. It seems that Boom De Yada WoW by Irdeen is likely to also be on the BLIND timer. I've received over two dozen tips about Boom De Yada WoW in the last week, which usually means there's an influx of folks out there who haven't seen it before. And if you're already familiar with Irdeen's masterpiece, why not take a moment and enjoy it again? It's just as awesome now as it was when it came out. Interested in the wide world of machinima?
