Interrogate the robots of Bot Colony
Bot Colony, an episodic, futuristic sci-fi game for PC based on the novel of the same name, is looking to raise $100,000 CAD through Kickstarter. The hook is that you speak directly with the game – there are no scripted questions or choices to pull from. Developer North Side Inc. promises a complex language system in Bot Colony that allows players to pursue their own personalized investigation by speaking directly with the game. As an investigator, players must oust a spy from a rival corporation and locate some missing prototypes while taking care to fully enunciate every word. Robots aren't big fans of colloquialisms, we hear. The Kickstarter pledge drive will be open for the next 29 days. 10 episodes in total are planned, with the third episode – there are already two episodes ready to be released – due sometime before Christmas. Bot Colony is also looking for votes on Steam Greenlight.
