If you live in the States and your boss, professor or authoritative role loves you, you've got Memorial Day off! The Microsoft Store is observing the holiday with a buy two, get one free sale on Xbox One games, and while you probably won't receive your order in time to relax with them on Monday, you'll at least be set for whenever you find some more leisurely time. The selection for purchasable games includes Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, Titanfall, Call of Duty: Ghosts, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, NBA 2K14, Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes and others, with individual prices ranging from $59.99 to $29.99. The offered choices of free games differ a bit, with Need for Speed: Rivals joining Titanfall, CoD: Ghosts, LEGO Marvel and others as still-in-stock options at the time of this writing. GameStop Easter Weekend sale offers 'Buy 2, Get 1 Free' on used games under $20
GameStop is celebrating spring with an Easter Weekend event, offering a "buy 2 get 1" on a select stock of used games. The promotion begins today at all GameStop retail locations across the United States and online. The deal comes with certain stipulations, however: only games priced under $20 are eligible, with the free title coming at equal or lesser value. Though the promotion undoubtedly means PS4 and Xbox One titles are off the table, previous generation software is up for grabs. According to GameStop, the company "has recently reduced a large percentage of games from the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 libraries to $20 or less." The promotion ends on Sunday, April 20. Target's buy two games, get one free sale spans all consoles
It turns out the previously-reported buy two, get one free sale at Target stretches across all major consoles, and is on now through Saturday, November 16. The sale includes games like Pokemon X and Y, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, Grand Theft Auto 5 and Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag. We know what you're thinking: "What about all those launch games for PS4 and Xbox One that I want?" We filtered the platforms down on Target's sales page, and found that only four next-gen games are seemingly eligible for the sale: NBA 2K14 on PS3 and Battlefield 4, Fighter Within and Call of Duty: Ghosts on Xbox One.
Buy 2 get 1 free on select Vita games at GameStop starting today
In true local-furniture-store fashion, purchasing any 2 first-party Vita games on this list will land you a third title (also from that list) free of charge. The deal runs between now and February 25, and while it excludes non-SCE games, it'll help you save some skrill for a memory card.
