The upcoming console/PC iteration of Resident Evil: Revelations will include a trio of confusing new costumes for Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield and Keith Lumley, Capcom has announced. As can be seen in the gallery, Jill and Chris both sport equally leggy nautical-themed outfits, while Keith channels his inner One Piece character as a shirtless sword-guy in hammer pants. Costumes are unlocked by playing through the game's Campaign and Raid modes, in addition to "other unlocking mechanisms" that Capcom is keeping a secret. We're just hoping Capcom eventually rides this train of thought all the way to its logical extreme: Pretty Soldier Sailor Claire Redfield.%Gallery-188759%

  • Ezio Auditore/Chris Redfield to play Sonic the Hedgehog in Wreck-it Ralph

No, Ezio Auditore da Firenze and Chris Redfield won't be trading in their various killing implements for pointy red shoes, nor will they be playing a grotesque two-headed version of Sega's iconic mascot, but the man who voices both those characters will be.Okay, maybe not the grotesque two-headed monster thing, but Roger Craig Smith (who voices both Ezio and Chris) will be playing the role of Sonic the Hedgehog in Disney's forthcoming reference vehicle Wreck-it Ralph. As it happens, Smith has become the blue blur in days past, having voiced the character in Mario & Sonic at the London Olympic Games, Sonic Generations and Sonic Free Riders. Let's just hope that any dialogue they give him will be better than what we're used to.

  • New Resident Evil 6 details, freshly imported from Japan

The announce of Resident Evil 6 stole the spotlight yesterday afternoon during Capcom's big 15th anniversary event in Japan, and the company delivered even more info on the game than the surprisingly lengthy trailer could offer. It turns out that Leon will be joined by a brand new, highly alliterative security worker named Helena Harper, while Chris Redfield's partner remains unknown. In non-human characters, the snarling beast seen in the trailer repeatedly (and above) is named "Javo," and is said to have an "even greater impact than the zombies." He gives us a Nemesis vibe, which is to say, "He looks and sounds terrifying," even though his name makes him sound like a barista. The third main protagonist also hasn't been named, and has only been referred to thus far as "the man who's told to save the world." From what we gleaned in the trailer, he'll only do so for a price. According to Andriasang's report of the Japanese event where the title was announced, Capcom also went into detail on Resident Evil Chronicles HD, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, Resident Evil Revelations, and spoke about upcoming merchandise based on the series. Also, there are, like, a lot of Resident Evil games in production right now, in case that wasn't clear.

  • Marvel vs. Capcom 3 screens are light on the curleh mustaches

Click image to jump into our gallery Capcom has finally released some in-game shots of Marvel vs Capcom 3. The screens are missing HUD elements, but that's fine -- we just wanted to see how the game would "blur the line between 2D and 3D graphics." Frankly, we're surprised it doesn't look more like Super Street Fighter IV. And not a single curleh mustache in sight? How will the fans react? Head into our gallery below to check out the new screens, which feature a Ryu vs Wolverine match-up, Iron Man shooting Morrigan in the face and a trigger-happy Chris Redfield taking on The Hulk. %Gallery-93783%

RE5: Lost in Nightmares teaser goes back to the mansion

Jill Valentine knows what's up: Only the most refined individual understands the elegance of the crank. Chris Redfield and his personal gun show may complain that an entire mansion is being run on the archaic device in this teaser for upcoming Resident Evil 5 DLC episode, Lost in Nightmares, but that's because the dude doesn't respect the crank's noble history. We're just glad one of the two survivalists has enough class to acknowledge the significance of history's great gate opener. %Gallery-78541%

  • These new Resident Evil 5 costumes are not a win-win

No, that's not a screen from Joystiq Publishing's upcoming actioner, Vanessa and The Bear ("Half Accounts Receivable Temp, Half Sadomasochist, All Hero!") It's actually a pair of the new costumes you'll able to get if you pick up the upcoming Resident Evil 5 PC release. We've just got one question: Who, exactly, did Chris piss off so bad that they're dressing him like the lovechild of Don Johnson and The Gimp?

  • Resident Evil presented in clay

It's a bold choice to present the Resident Evil story entirely in clay, you'll get no argument from us. RE is a series known for horror, and it's surprisingly difficult to build tension when you know severed limbs could be re-attached with nary a fingertip's worth of pressure. But we'd argue that the bolder choice is casting the most relaxed dude ever as Chris Redfield. Somehow, when he can't even be bothered to modulate his pitch for a giant man-eating python, he becomes even more badass. It's like Matthew McConaughey joined STARS. • Pinpoint exactly when Resident Evil's Chris Redfield started taking steroids

Having watched GameTrailers' video on the evolution of Chris Redfield through the Resident Evil series, it becomes quite clear that he began his steroid abuse sometime after the events of Code: Veronica ... maybe Umbrella Chronicles. We understand the stresses of holding back the zombie apocalypse may have taken its toll on Redfield, but there's no need for him to hit the juice. Although we can't verify his steroid use from the bulging biceps and mountainous veins he has in Resident Evil 5, we're sure a testicular exam and a bacne (back acne) check could confirm our suspicions. Chris, we're only calling you out in public because we want you to get better, brother. See you later this week -- if Avon doesn't kill us all first. Check out the full Chris Redfield evolution video after the break.%Gallery-5253%

  • Who would you take Home? Chris Redfield or Chun-Li?

When PlayStation Home launches later this year, you won't have to choose.Capcom, one of new publishers for Home announced earlier this week, is showing off the content they'll be providing. We've got four videos for you right after the jump -- the first one begins with Street Fighter IV producer Yoshinori Ono explaining the content for Home. But even if your foreign language skills are limited, you can still enjoy seeing Chun-Li do her famous victory jump. Chris Redfield makes an appearance in the second video, but it seems like his Home incarnation doesn't hit the gym quite as often. The Gran Turismo 5 demo showcases a couple racing pods (check out a variation of it here) for your virtual pad. Lastly, Sony recreated their TGS booth in Home at the company's press conference.
