Devil May Cry HD Collection includes Devil May Cry 1, 2 and 3, leaving out 4 because playing as Nero once is quite enough, thank you. At least, we assume that's why. It could also be because 4 is already an HD title.Capcom suggests Devil May Cry HD Collection can hold fans over until DmC drops on January 15, in all of its own HD and neon-filtered glory.

Unleash Dante's raging inferno next year when the Devil May Cry HD Collection arrives April 3, 2012. Capcom confirmed the date today for the bundle, featuring the first three games in the series (including the "special edition" version of DMC 3), and reiterated the game will be available on Xbox 360 and PS3 for $39.99. Devil May Cry will definitely be re-released next year, as part of a long-rumored HD collection. Capcom has officially unveiled the Devil May Cry HD Collection for Xbox 360 and PS3, consisting of upgraded versions of DMC 1, 2, and Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition. Capcom even went so far as to specify a $39.99 price for the set.
