One of the common criticisms of Champions Online is that it has an incredibly shallow endgame. If true, this will be a very significant problem when the game goes F2P. When a large number of people with lots of time on their hands and only two character slots dive into a game without a deep endgame, the results will most likely be less than ideal. This week on Behind the Mask, we'll look at what CO has and where it can possibly improve. There are some silver linings as always, but this week we're going to be pretty critical of the Champions endgame.

ihatemostthings' friend found something fun in the new(ish) game F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin. Apparently, wandering around in the game, you can come across a little terminal that has some familiar code to anyone who's ever raided with a more-than-enthusiastic raid leader (NSFW). You can click the picture above to see a closeup view of what the screen says.Pretty cute. Blizzard has seen fit to make nods to other games in Azeroth, so it's fun to see other game companies return the favor.

Remember that raid-leader who, during a run at World of Warcraft's dragon-boss Onyxia, managed to exhaust his daily allotment of f-bombs? Nope? Y'know, the "50 DKP MINUS" guy? Yeah, now you remember. Wagner James Au, from arch-blogging faction Kotaku, tracked down Dives and asked him some colorful questions, like:"Where did you learn to swear in English? You swear like an American. When Europeans and Asians swear in English, they usually do it wrong ...?"... and ..."Do you remember the fall of Ceausescu? You must have been 8 or 9, right?"And got some colorful responses to other questions, like:"I have visited most countries in Europe, including having intercourse with girls from most countries in Europe. It was a project of mine at one point."... and ..."Well, I'll make some T-shirts. 'Dives yelled at me and all I got is this T-shirt', and stuff like that."I'd buy that shirt. Seriously, Dives, I smell a money-making enterprise here. Team up with Blizzard and get those things made.

The words "50 DKP MINUS" are becoming somewhat legendary even in non-WoW circles, but have you ever wondered about the guy who originally uttered them? Wagner James Au has interviewed Dives, leader of the Wipe Club, and the interview contains some real insight into the life of this particular raid leader.Turns out that, for those following the Onyxia Wipe closely, Crushim didn't actually get -50 DKP once the situation was explained. Thank goodness for that then.
