Sure, you could play Final Fantasy XIII on PS3 and Xbox 360 this week, but you could also buy a Final Fantasy game whose quality isn't under any debate -- partly because it's really good, and partly because Final Fantasy II for SNES was released in 1991 and the debate has pretty much elapsed by now. Or you could bypass that whole Final Fantasy thing and play a cute game about a kid and his amazing drawing ability. %Gallery-86446%

This week, European Wii and DSi owners can download the same game on either system: a ported version of Chillingo's iPhone shooter iDracula: Undead Awakening. Unfortunately, it's hitting on the absolute worst day ever to release a WiiWare game about fighting Dracula. Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth (WiiWare, 1 player, 1,000 Wii Points) Reel Fishing Challenge (WiiWare, 1 player, 500 Wii Points) Dracula: Undead Awakening (WiiWare, 1 player, 1,000 Wii Points) Bird & Bombs (DSiWare, 1 player, 200 DSi Points) Dracula: Undead Awakening (DSiWare, 1 player, 500 DSi Points) Electroplankton: Marine-Crystals (DSiWare, 1 player, 200 DSi Points) Electroplankton: Varvoice (DSiWare, 1 player, 200 DSi Points) Zoo Frenzy (DSiWare, 1 player, 800 DSi Points)

For a limited time, select Minis (playable on PSP and PS3) will be on sale in the European PlayStation Store. Sony Computer Entertainment Europe will discount these eight games from February 4–18: Fieldrunners - €3.99/£3.49 Kahoots - €1.99/£1.74 Vempire - €1.99/£1.74 Breakquest - €1.99/£1.74 Pinball Fantasies - €3.99/£3.49 Bloons - €2.49/£1.99 Mahjongg Artifacts: Chapter 2 - €1.99/£1.74 Dracula - Undead Awakening - €1.99/£1.74 SCEE is also promising to update its YouTube channel with new videos of the Minis. It's not quite as good as playable demos, but it's better than nothing, right?

While Americans prep Thanksgiving dinner, the rest of the world moves on as usual. Today's European PSN update adds all the Fallout 3 DLC, along with Borderlands' "Zombie Island" expansion. For PSP users, two new Minis are available: Blast Off and Dracula -- Undead Awakening (pictured). Now, please pardon us while we go get the stuffing ready. Choose your platform to view the corresponding release list: (Note: Continue past the break to view both release lists.)

  • Dracula -- Undead Awakening coming to PSP Minis next week [update]

iPhone-owning fans of twin stick shooters have probably gotten their hands on Chillingo's vampire-slaying app, iDracula. If you haven't gotten a chance to check out the title, you may want to wait for the developer's next, similarly vamp-based project: Dracula -- Undead Awakening, a PSP Mini that will land on the European PSN next Thursday, November 26. Much like the company's previous title, Undead Awakening is a top-down shooter with unlockable weapons, abilities and perks, all of which presumably make you better at turning fangfaces into small clumps of Transylvanian ash. We've contacted the folks at Chillingo to find out if the game will also come stateside next week, how much the game will cost, and how exactly we're supposed to pronounce their company's name. (Chill-in-go? Chill-ing-o? Chillin'-jo?) Update: A Chillingo representative responded to our query, telling us that the game would come to the U.S. PSN "ideally pre-Christmas," though they haven't settled on a price for the title quite yet. Also, he informed us that the company's name is phonetically pronounced "Chih-lingo." Now we know -- and knowing is half the battle!
