Don't Starve and Mark of the Ninja developer Klei Entertainment launched its first iOS game this week, Eets Munchies, for $2.99. The puzzler is considered a re-imagining of Klei's previous PC game Eets, and challenges players with guiding a hungry armless rabbit-like creature through levels filled with obstacles, eating cake and sweets along the way. Eets' iOS version was revealed in March 2012. Eets first launched on PC in March 2006 before arriving on XBLA in the form of Eets: Chowdown in April 2007. Eets Munchies contains five worlds and dozens of preset puzzles, and also includes a built-in level editor, so players can create their own puzzles to share with friends. [Image: Klei Entertainment]

The Humble Bundle is easily the best deal available on the internet when it comes to pay-what-you-want entertainment. It works on a sliding scale of price / morality. You pay whatever you want for a block of games / movies / comedy albums / e-books etc, from zero dollars on. Buyers who pay more than the average get bonus content. It's truly a wonderful idea. Currently, the deal being offered is the Humble Indie Bundle 9, a set of four incredible games for your standard customers with two extra games for people who pay more than US$4.59. That's right -- six full games for less than a dollar apiece. More importantly, this particular bundle marks the Mac debut of two of these titles. The basic package comes with Trine 2: Complete Story, Mark of the Ninja (for the first time on Mac), Eets Munchies Beta and the Jack Black-starring heavy metal role-playing game Brütal Legend. If you pay more than the standard amount you also get FTL: Faster Than Light and the legendary 2D platformer in a 3D world, Fez. You can watch the bundle's trailer below. Head over to the Humble Bundle website now and get stocked up on games.

Yesterday CEO of Klei Entertainment Jamie Cheng casually announced he was working on a new Eets title during the Q&A of the Failure Workshop panel at GDC, and today he told Joystiq that it is indeed a thing, and it has the munchies. Er, we mean, it's called Munchies. Cheng showed us a brief demo of Munchies on the iPad, and it looks appropriately adorable for the next Eets game, starring the classic bunny-like main character and clean cartoon graphics, in line with the screen from the first Eets shown above.Eets: Munchies is coming to the iPad for sure, but Cheng has yet to reveal other platforms. He said the title is far from being complete.
