The Enclave, a paramilitary organization claiming to be the last bastion and continuation of Earth's government in the Fallout universe, is now a joinable faction in Fallout: New Vegas thanks to modders Otellino, CNC and many others. The "For the Enclave" mod available via NexusMods allows players to join a splinter group of the original Enclave as it goes head-to-head against their former brothers-in-arms. The mod adds a five-part main quest, four side quests, new voice acting, a potential companion and even an Enclave radio station. Rookies need not apply, though; players who want to undertake this mission must be level 15, must have interacted with the NPC Benny, and must be running the most current version of New Vegas on Steam. The mod's description text also warns that it will be incompatible with most mods that alter Searchlight Airfield. [Image: Bethesda]

Once solely slated for the Chevy Volt, the OnStar MyLink smartphone app has gained considerable ground -- last July, GM expanded the iPhone and Android remote domination over your horn, door locks, and real-time data to every 2011 automobile, and now it's reaching back through time to activate fourteen vehicles from 2010. As you'd expect, that's mostly a smattering of SUVs and crossovers like the Cadillac Escalade, Buick Enclave, GMC Yukon and Chevy Avalanche, though the Impala will also get the goods, and if you live in the lap of low-end luxury, you may be able to listen to Facebook updates on your 2010 Cadillac DTS or Buick Lucerne. It's been quite a while since we've heard anything about the upcoming Wii port of the 2003 Starbreeze Xbox and PC title, Enclave. Now we've got a few new tidbits on the Wii port. First and foremost, the game now has a publisher in TopWare Interactive, the same publisher behind the upcoming open-world fantasy Two Worlds 2. TopWare has acquired the worldwide IP and trademark rights for the game and will bring it to the Wii with the new title Enclave: Shadows of Twilight. Shadows of Twilight will take advantage of the Wii Remote and will add some other new features including a better save system -- you can actually save at any time now -- and a new tutorial. Furthermore, both the light and dark campaigns will be unlocked from the beginning. There is, unfortunately, one detail still missing from the press release: The release date. As of last year, the game was slated for "early 2010" so hopefully we'll hear something soon. In the meantime, check out a trailer for the original game after the break.

Remember Enclave? It's back ... in Wii form! Oh, you don't remember Enclave? It was a 3D fantasy action game for the Xbox and PC, developed by Starbreeze Studios immediately prior to its breakout hit The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay.According to Eurogamer, some progress was made years ago on a GameCube port of the game, which the site speculates is the basis for this Wii version. However, Starbreeze isn't working on the Wii game -- instead, a German developer called Village1 Entertainment is handling the port. Village1 expects to release the game in "early 2010," though without a publisher, it has basically no way of knowing when the release date will be.

Xboxygen has posted some nice -- mildly disturbing -- images of The Darkness, Starbreeze's horror themed FPS. Starbreeze was behind Chronicles of Riddick -- and the underrated Enclave -- so they have quite a legacy to live up to. Hopefully, The Darkness will deliver. If these screens are anything to go by, it looks like it will.Anyone looking forward to this one?
