A Ragnarok here, a Ragnarok there -- there are Ragnaroks everywhere! Last July we learned that Ragnarok Online was reinventing itself for browsers as Ragnarok Online: Prequel (which, by the way, is not any relation to Ragnarok 2). At that point, the browser version of the game, developed by Dream², was only available in China. Now, however, the company is bringing Prequel to the west and giving it a shiny new moniker to set it apart from the rest of the franchise. Ragnarok Zero, as the English version will be known, currently has its own website and forums up and running for fans to keep tabs on the game. [Thanks to Dengar for the tip!]

Despite the fact that Sega delayed Phantasy Star Online 2's North American launch earlier this year, fans of the game in Southeast Asia will be happy to hear that an English version is coming their way as well. A specific release date for either territory hasn't been given, but online game publisher Asiasoft has confirmed in an investor relations report (as reported by Gamespot UK) that they will be distributing both PSO2 and DC Universe Online to the Southeast Asia market. Yes, now you too can take on all of the Chinese speaking players of a single game as one great nation of English speaking players. Except, of course, until the barrage of lolcats quotes and internet memes in the global faction channel drive you out of your mind.Either way, Galaxy Online, igg.com's massively multiplayer free-to-play sci-fi RTS, will be opening up a brand new server that has the sole responsibility of housing a battle between the Chinese version and the English version of their game. The winning faction will recieve all of the spoils, which have yet to be announced but are promised to be a pretty decent prize. Oh, and the winners will also get the bragging rights, of course. The battle is open to anyone interested, and the call will soon be put out on the Galaxy Online forums.
