Call of Duty: Black Ops launched in Japan last week, and though it wasn't the major cultural phenomenon it was here, it managed to top the Media Create sales charts for the week of Nov. 15-21. Well, the PS3 version did, anyway, with 128,922 copies sold. The Xbox 360 version came in at #7 with 30,279 copies. This is just the subtitled release -- it'll get another sales boost in December when the dubbed version arrives. Other success stories in Japan last week include the sequel to Fossil Fighters on DS at #2, Pokemon Black/White at #3, Super Mario All-Stars Limited Edition at #4, and Tactics Ogre on PSP at #5. Black Ops trumped Colors last week, as Sonic raced to a #33 finish on Wii and #49 on DS.

No time for archaeology, Dr. Jones Nintendo has been known to pull off odd PR stunts, whether it's filling Times Square with truckloads of sand or, in this case, sending out gigantic pieces of plaster to promote Fossil Fighters, We guess Nintendo has no problem throwing around some of its cash. Just, uh, maybe send us a trash bag next time so we have somewhere to put all of this mess, 'kay?%Gallery-69614%

We're not hard to please here at Joystiq. When we heard about Fossil Fighters, a game that lets you play as Colonel Sanders' brother (only your dinos fight for sport, making them infinitely better), we turned an ear skyward. It's just a cool concept and, while the jury's still out on the game (releases next week), we thought this extended look at the title was worth highlighting on This Week on the Nintendo Channel. After you've checked out the three minute-plus video above, be sure to head past the break for the rest of this week's content.%Gallery-65413%

Nintendo announced a ton of new games at its E3 keynote, but it announced even more afterward. We've decided to round up the trailers and screens we haven't shown you yet all at once, in the interest of getting all this stuff out as quickly as possible! The trailer above is for Fossil Fighters, the game released in Japan as We Are Fossil Holders. It's about digging up fossils, reconstructing dinosaurs, and then making them fight. After the break, see trailers for Style Savvy, the latest Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, and the new DSiWare lineup, as well as screens for Picross 3D, Glory of Heracles, Style Savvy, and the one game we really wanted to play at E3 but couldn't, WarioWare DIY.%Gallery-65413%
