It looks like much of the credentials of the original Sensei have been kept intact, the same 10.8-megapixel sensor, the 150 inches per second movement detection, 32-bit ARM processor, LCD display and so on. What's new then? For the main part, the CPI, which can now go from one to 8,200, or all the way to 16,400 if you use the double CPI feature. You'll have to wait until August to get your hand on it, with pre-orders (but no price as yet) set to open at the MLG Championship next week.

Continue reading SteelSeries announces Sensei Major League Gaming edition, keeps palms eager until August

SteelSeries announces Sensei Major League Gaming edition, keeps palms eager until August originally appeared on Engadget on Sun, 03 Jun 2012 04:42:00 EST. The FCC may have just uncovered your new best friend: The Razer Ouroboros gaming mouse. Like the Cyborg RAT series, the Ouroboros features a sliding palm rest and swappable side panels to better fit your mitt. Unlike the RAT, however, Razer's rodent is completely symmetrical, and therefor, ambidextrous. While Ouroboros may not actually devour its tail, it can at least detach it, switching between wired and wireless modes with relative ease. The versatile vermin appears to pack nine buttons (the regular left and right triggers, three buttons on each side, plus the mouse wheel), a toggle for on-the-fly DPI adjustments, left / right trigger locks, compatibility for Windows 7 and MAC OS X and a charging stand. No word yet on the device's max DPI sensitivity or price point, but we'll let you know when Razer makes things official. In the meantime, feel free to browse the rodent's manual at the source link below.

Razer's Ouroboros gaming mouse outed by the FCC, transforms to fit lefties originally appeared on Engadget on Wed, 16 May 2012 21:11:00 EST. Now the original is back, and updated for 2012. What's new? Well, there's a redesigned anti-slip, fingerprint-fighting finish, three interchangeable side panels and a re-optimized button placement. It's all designed to stop your fevered swipes from landing your mouse on the other side of the LAN, and help fend off a dreaded bout of "Warfare-wrist". Reckon you deserve an upgrade? US and EU gamers can get their $80 dollar-laden hand on it now, and the rest of the realm later in Q2.

Continue reading Razer Naga MMO mouse gets some work done, fresh for 2012

Razer Naga MMO mouse gets some work done, fresh for 2012 originally appeared on Engadget on Wed, 09 May 2012 02:50:00 EST. Well, it appears Razer has heard the clamoring and plans to produce a southpaw version of the gaming mouse. The catch? A Facebook page must receive 10,000 Likes in a month in order for the project to move forward. Before you get too excited, the outfit warns that the left-handed Naga will take a year or more to complete -- but if the vote quota is reached, Min-Liang Tan gave his word to make it happen. Seems like it'll happen, too, as the page has currently received over 6,000 Likes. So if that lefty DeathAdder just isn't cutting it anymore, hit the source link below to further the cause.

Razer to arm lefties with the Naga if it gets 10,000 Likes before April 21st originally appeared on Engadget on Wed, 28 Mar 2012 16:20:00 EST. Still, if your ambitions are a little loftier, Roccat's unveiled the Savu gaming mouse in anticipation for its big day out at CeBIT. Named after an Indonesian province, its the first mouse to include a trophy system (nope, us neither) that rewards "gaming feats" when you reach the milestone of having clicked your right button a thousand times in an hour, or something. The 4,000 DPI optical sensor device has the company's usual clutch of features including Easy-Shift+ and customizable colors and it'll be available in May where you can customize it to your whimsy for an as-yet unspecified price.

Continue reading Roccat unveils Savu hybrid gaming mouse ready for CeBIT

Roccat unveils Savu hybrid gaming mouse ready for CeBIT originally appeared on Engadget on Thu, 01 Mar 2012 09:30:00 EST. Despite shedding the name of its predecessors, Mad Catz' latest point-and-clicker is as much of a RAT as the mice that came before it, but distinguishes itself with more buttons, more features and more color. These include independent X and Y DPi settings to stabilize targeting, thumb selector for speed shooting, 5,700 DPI accuracy and 11,570 frames per second movement tracking -- sidestepping those pesky jumps and stutters when moving that cursor in the midst of a melee. Indicators include X, Y and refresh rate, while you'll find 11 extra macro keys across the rubberized surface. There are 20 customized DPI settings for any game genre you'd care to mention -- oh and a desktop setting, yawn. Expect to shoot the wings off a CGI fly some time in Q2 2012.

Continue reading Shogun Bros. After previously partnering up for the elegant (and functional) Level 10 modular PC case, the two are back at it again -- this time with a focus on peripherals. While details are sparse, the Level 10 M mouse concept you're looking at is the first of the bunch to be revealed, and it's said to arrive sometime during the spring. It's not exactly a shoo-in for MadCatz's Rats, but considering the wire and an aggressively breathable design, it's clearly aimed at pro gamers. Sadly, key specs like its DPI rating and details about any macro functionality are currently non-existent, however, it does appear to be of the optical variety -- here's to hoping it'll perform just as awesome as it looks to the eyes, and for now, hit up the press release past the break for a totally vague description.
Continue reading BMW's DesignworksUSA, Thermaltake reveal Level 10 M gaming mouse concept

BMW's DesignworksUSA, Thermaltake reveal Level 10 M gaming mouse concept originally appeared on Engadget on Tue, 17 Jan 2012 21:34:00 EST. Just last week, the firm announced it would be bringing its 6000 DPI Kone gaming rodent and Isku illuminated keyboard the states later this year -- we found the deadly Deutch duo tucked away in a corner of the show's gaming nook.

Gallery: ROCCAT Isku keyboard and Kone mouse hands-on

Continue reading ROCCAT Isku keyboard and Kone mouse hands-on (video)

ROCCAT Isku keyboard and Kone mouse hands-on (video) originally appeared on Engadget on Sun, 15 Jan 2012 00:21:00 EST. We just tested our hand stamina with the recently-outed Razer Naga Hex Gaming Mouse. The programmable, six-button side panel also sports a thumb rest in the center of the control set -- something we found to be a nice touch. If the stock feel of said finger grip doesn't exactly suit your gaming style, you can switch it out for two other heights for a better grasp of things. Shipping this spring, it'll set you back $80. So is the Naga Hex a sound investment? Read on to find out.

The first thing we noticed about the Naga Hex was how lighting fast it was. We didn't experience any lag in the movement, something we've come to count on from Razer peripherals. There was the slightest bit of travel with button set on the right side, though, but the feel could change slightly once you pop on a different thumb rest. Those side buttons also boast speeds of up to 250 clicks per second, making those all-too-important macros keep pace with your MW3 tactics. Naga Hex is the first Razer device to sport Synapse 2.0, a cloud-based service that manages all of your custom settings even when you head over to mates house. Scroll wheel and buttons up top work like a charm as well, making it a nice piece of kit to add to your gaming rig.

Gallery: Razer Naga Hex hands-on

Continue reading Razer Naga Hex Gaming Mouse hands-on (video)

Razer Naga Hex Gaming Mouse hands-on (video) originally appeared on Engadget on Wed, 11 Jan 2012 17:45:00 EST. It's time to whip that lazy right thumb into shape, to end its freeloading ways and make sure it's fully maximized. The Razer Naga Hex is the way to go. Think of it as a somewhat simplified version of the Razer Naga MMO, dropping to six buttons and re-arranging them into a hexagonal pattern. It's designed for the burgeoning action-RPG gamer -- or for those who spent too much time playing Battletech with little painted figures. The $80 mouse is available for pre-order now and will ship later this month before popping up in stores in March.
Razer Naga Hex Gaming Mouse asks your single thumb to do sextuple duty originally appeared on Engadget on Tue, 10 Jan 2012 11:58:00 EST. European peripheral maker ROCCAT was serious when they promised to put some German engineered fragging tools in the hands of US gamers, unveiling today a trio of accessories to tempt American gamers. These aren't your standard mouse and keyboard setup, however -- these siblings socialize. More specifically, the outfit's Isku gaming keyboard ($90) and 6000 DPI Kone gaming mouse ($80) use ROCCAT's exclusive "Talk" protocol to activate mouse macros from the keyboard. Ready to snipe? Just click easy-aim on the Isku Keyboard, and the Kone mouse automatically adjusts its DPI to a headshot friendly level. The outfit is also trotting out a 5.1 surround sound headset, dubbed Kave, which will land in February for $120. Hit the break for the full PR, or take a peek at Germany's finest in the gallery below.

Digging your stealthy Chameleon X-1 gamepad / mouse combo clicker? Look out, it's about to get a bit stealthier -- Shogun Bros. tells us that the dual analog rodent is sporting some fresh digs to ape the style of Assassin's Creed Revelations, complete with antique decorated leather mouse buttons. Cowhide aside, this is the same 1600dpi, 16 button wireless doodad the firm updated earlier this year. The branded mouse will debut at CES 2012 in "Altair white" and "Ezio grey," and promises to help you eliminate your targets in style. The outfit hinted to us that they'll be bringing a few other killer products to the show as well -- we'll be sure to sneak a peek while we're there.
Remember that Vengeance line of gaming products that Corsair outed a few months back? We'll forgive you if not, and we'll also take this opportunity to refresh your memory while affirming that the company is shipping the bulk of 'em out just in time for the holidays. The Vengeance K60 and Vengeance K90 gaming keyboards and the Vengeance M60 and Vengeance M90 laser gaming mice and all clad in aluminum, with the K Series aimed at first-person shooter loyalists and the Ms aimed at those who just generally want to be awesome. You can catch up on the nitty-gritty just after the break, but here's the bad news: the K90, K60, M90 and M60 will go for $129, $109, $79 and $69 in order of mention.

Gallery: Corsair ships Vengeance K90, K60, M90 and M60 gaming mice and keyboards

Continue reading Corsair ships Vengeance gaming mice and keyboards, procrastinating shoppers rejoice

Corsair ships Vengeance gaming mice and keyboards, procrastinating shoppers rejoice originally appeared on Engadget on Thu, 15 Dec 2011 19:12:00 EST. As you may well be aware, professional gamers have been getting more and more pro over the years, even including the sort of product endorsements you'd expect from professional athletes. Case in point: this new limited edition headset and mouse pair from SteelSeries, which each sport the colors and logo of Team Fnatic. They are being released to coincide with the Dreamhack Winter LAN party / digital festival, and they're otherwise identical to SteelSeries' existing 7H headset and Sensei gaming mouse. Those interested will be able to pick up both the mouse and headset (pictured after the break) at Dreamhack or online for $100 and $140, respectively.

Continue reading Fnatic pro gaming team gets limited edition headset and mouse from SteelSeries

Fnatic pro gaming team gets limited edition headset and mouse from SteelSeries originally appeared on Engadget on Sat, 26 Nov 2011 14:01:00 EST. Remember that intense Albino Rat Mouse from Mad Catz that we took for a spin and ripped apart way back in August? Meet its cousin, the Cyborg M.M.O.7. As you've likely already gathered, this rather intense gaming peripheral is all about the MMO world, featuring a staggering 78 definable commands thanks to 13 programmable buttons, a two-position MMO shift button and a three-position MMO mode switch. It's also one size fits all, thanks to adjustable palm and thumb rests. World of Warcraft fans will likely find a lot to like in the ability to assign spells to the mouse's buttons by dragging and dropping. The Cyborg M.M.O.7 is coming next month -- no word on pricing just yet.

Gallery: Mad Catz goes massively multiplayer with Cyborg M.M.O.7

Mad Catz goes massively multiplayer with Cyborg M.M.O.7 originally appeared on Engadget on Tue, 08 Nov 2011 18:49:00 EST. If the thought of spending $160 on Modern Warfare 3-branded peripherals appeals then twitch your trigger fingers at Logitech's new Gaming Keyboard G105 and Laser Mouse G9X. Both are slathered in MW3 logos (so you don't forget what you've consigned yourself to for the next year) and come with some essential FPS features. The keyboard has "night-vision green" LED backlit keys, six programmable "G" keys to record macros and a game/desktop mode switch for those rare moments when you're really not meant to be MacTavish. Meanwhile, the mouse has on-the-fly adjustable DPI, up to five different player profiles, a color display and 28g (one ounce) of extra weight to adjust the mouse balance against your hand. They're both available from the Logitech website and will set you back $80 each.

Logitech release MW3 gaming mouse and keyboard, for people who can't get enough Soap originally appeared on Engadget on Tue, 18 Oct 2011 09:32:00 EST. Competitive gaming scored itself a new peripheral vying for the top spot back in August, when SteelSeries unveiled its ambidextrous Sensei mouse. If you'll recall, the Sensei tracks up to 150-inches per second with its 10.8 megapixel sensor, and uses a 32-bit ARM processor to calculate it all without bogging down your rig. Making things sweeter, a trio of illuminated sections can be set to differing hues befitting your mood, and an LCD planted on the Sensei's underside will let you change some settings without a computer. If you've been dying to get your FPS-loving mitts on this $90 input device, it's now officially up for pre-order from the company's website and due to hit doorsteps during the first week of October. What better way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Halo than the release of a new way to first-person shoot people on the Xbox 360? Splitfish today announced that its FragFX Shark mouse / analog stick hybrid controller device thingie is finally hitting the Microsoft console. The peripheral offers in-controller setup, customizable precision and should give you around 50 hours of play time on two AA batteries. The $80 device uses 2.4GHz wireless, but, as outlined before, requires a wired controller to get in on the action. More info in the press release after the break.
Continue reading Splitfish FragFX Shark 360 starts shipping for your first-person shooting pleasure

Splitfish FragFX Shark 360 starts shipping for your first-person shooting pleasure originally appeared on Engadget on Fri, 16 Sep 2011 22:39:00 EST. Let's be honest, balancing coursework with recreation is just as important as maintaining a balanced food diet -- perhaps even more. After you spend countless hours hitting the books, cramming for tests, and writing papers, you're just going to need something to turn your brain to mush. Don't worry, we have just the thing: video games. It doesn't matter how many midterms you have, we're sure we can find something to help you slack off. Of course, it's not going to be easy; you'll have to wait until next semester (at least) to get your hands on the PlayStation Vita, but that doesn't mean that you don't have options now. Jump past the break -- we can probably help you find something to get you through mid-terms with your sanity intact. Don't want to shell out cash to have fun this semester? Logitech isn't exactly new to the gaming peripheral scene, but the company knows its strength lies not in pleasing hardcore FPS fans, it's in delivering solid consumer products. The G300 isn't a gaming mouse for the twitchy virtual gun slingers out there, it's for folks that fire up the occasional shooter, but want better performance than they get out of the pointer packed with their PC. The nine programmable buttons and 2,500dpi laser aren't jaw-dropping, but they're certainly respectable for only $40. It does pack one interesting feature -- gaming profiles that are stored on the mouse's internal memory. This way you can set up different configurations for particular games and even move the mouse across PCs without any hassle. And, the lighting on the side will glow different colors to identify which profile you're using. While you wait for the G300 to land in September, check out the PR after the break.
Continue reading Logitech G300 mouse delivers gaming friendly features on the cheap

Logitech G300 mouse delivers gaming friendly features on the cheap originally appeared on Engadget on Thu, 18 Aug 2011 14:47:00 EST. Mad Catz' aggressively named "Rat" mouse line already looks like an exploding space ship of awesome in the form of a humble human interface device, but why not give it a hint more futuristic edge? Enter the Cyborg Rat Albino, Mad Catz' alabaster successor to the Rat 7, hitting the scene looking sleeker, cleaner, and somehow ever-so-slightly more futuristic than its matte black brethren. Although the Albino is still technically a Rat 7 itself, this murine clicker squeaked into the Engadget game room to show us it had a little more to flaunt than just a new paint job.
After what we're guessing was a fruitful tie-up with Tron, the fine folks at Razer are back at a similar well; this time, the company's dishing out a limited run of gear that's been splashed with color and branding from the upcoming Michael Bay <strike>train wreck</strike> blockbuster, Transformers 3. Outside of being doused with red, yellow, silver and purple paint, the special edition DeathAdder mice ($69.99 a pop) are identical to the version already on the market. If that's just not enough, there's also a dual-sided Vespula mouse mat ($44.99) to commemorate the film, not to mention a foursome of colored laptop sleeves ($49.99 each) that'll make public your infatuation. Curiously absent? A handwritten letter of congratulations from Shia LaBeouf.
Continue reading Razer trots out Transformers 3 Edition DeathAdder, Vespula and laptop case

Razer trots out Transformers 3 Edition DeathAdder, Vespula and laptop case originally appeared on Engadget on Wed, 29 Jun 2011 04:31:00 EST. We know you've got questions, and if you're brave enough to ask the world for answers, here's the outlet to do so. This week's Ask Engadget inquiry is coming to us from Alex, who seems to be sick and tired (but mostly sick) of doing poorly in deathmatches due to a troublesome mouse. If you're looking to send in an inquiry of your own, drop us a line at ask [at] engadget [dawt] com.
That's about as brief as they come, folks. We're guessing he wants something on the portable side given his machine of choice, and while we'd personally recommend the Orochi, we're sure the hivemind has a few answers, too. It's an Orochi, but with 100 percent more gloss. Typically, a new hue on an old critter wouldn't do much for us, but given that Razer's oh-so-diminutive Orochi still remains our favorite travel mouse to date (for gaming, at least), we couldn't help but notice the striking young fellow above. The Orochi Black Chrome Edition is the exact same mouse that shipped last fall, but with a much more vivacious set of duds. Aside from being fully capable of sneaking into either of your front pockets, this Bluetooth-enabled unit also touts an ambidextrous design, a 4000DPI laser sensor (with tracking at up to 100 inches per second), on-the-fly sensitivity adjustments and a gold-plated USB connector for those who'd prefer to roll wired. If you've been looking to treat yourself, she's in stock now for $79.99.
Externally, the design isn't much different; it's merely sporting a stealthier grey hue and a cable that's "thinner and twenty-five percent lighter." All of the tweaks Logitech has made to help improve your fragging life are internal. The optical sensor is twice as sensitive with a maximum 3,600 DPI resolution (selectable down to 400) that maintains a tracking speed of 140 inches per second, and the mouse reports 1,000 times per second over USB (up from 250). This little guy will even work with the macros on G-series keyboards. If your clicker-finger is starting to itch for one, $50 will snag you a pre-order from Logitech in the US where it's due out on June 19th, while the rest of the planet will have to rock their 518s into July.

Logitech G400 optical gaming mouse available for pre-order, wants to replace your aging MX518 originally appeared on Engadget on Mon, 13 Jun 2011 07:56:00 EST. Splitfish is finally bringing its flagship PC and PS3 mouse controller to the Xbox, albeit packing an odd wireless caveat. Although the FragFx Shark 360 is billed as an identical twin to its PS3 counterpart, this half-gamepad and rodent combo, much like a XIM adapter, needs a wired Xbox 360 gamepad to act as an intermediary between itself and the console. That wired controller plugs into the Shark's wireless USB dongle; the macro-equipped "fragchuck" and mouse themselves are completely untethered. It sounds a little janky, but if your faith in mouse superiority is strong, you may be forgiving it for its faults come late August. Hit the break for a full list of features and glittery PR wonder.
Continue reading Splitfish FragFX Shark to surface for Xbox 360, make friends with wired controller

Splitfish FragFX Shark to surface for Xbox 360, make friends with wired controller originally appeared on Engadget on Tue, 24 May 2011 18:41:00 EST. It seems that the people at NZXT love gamers almost as much as they hate vowels. The company today took the wraps off of the Avatar S, a replacement for the already discontinued Avatar gaming mouse. The new model doesn't quite match the 2,600DPI of its predecessor -- instead it's got a 1,600 DPI laser sensor with three sensitivity settings: 1,600DPI, 800DPI, and 400DPI. The finned peripheral's five buttons are configurable, as is the LED lighting scheme and X-Y sensitivity -- customization that can be saved to the device's 16Kb of onboard memory. The mouse has a polling rate of 1000Hz and does tracking at 30 inches / second, and those little Teflon feet should help you move the thing around a bit more easily. The mouse comes in both black and white will run you $39.99 when it launches at the end June -- $20 cheaper than its predecessor's launch price, or $10 per fin. Press release after the break.

Continue reading NZXT stops being so sensitive with $40 Avatar S gaming mouse

NZXT stops being so sensitive with $40 Avatar S gaming mouse originally appeared on Engadget on Tue, 24 May 2011 14:52:00 EST. When you've got a good thing rolling, why stop? That's the mantra applied to Razer's latest, which is actually the third DeathAdder to be released. You may remember the original slinking out way back in 2006, with the southpaws in attendance finally getting one of their own in March of last year. Today, in order to celebrate the device's Wood Anniversary, Razer's loosing the USB-connected DeathAdder Black Edition. For all intents and purposes, this is the same DeathAdder that we came to love last decade, but with an ever-so-slightly tweaked design that adds non-slip rubber sides and an all-black finish. It'll ship globally next month for $59.99 / €59.99, with orders being taken right... about.. now.
When the crew at Rude Gameware aren't flipping burgers, they're building gaming gear -- like this Fierce Laser Gaming Mouse V2 -- and while we haven't seen anything particularly groundbreaking, there's some bang for the buck to be had. This rodent in particular brings the heat with a 5000dpi laser sensor, a 1ms response time and 1000Hz polling rate, on-board memory to save configurations and macros for each of its seven programmable buttons, adjustable weights and on-the-fly DPI, a braided cord and even a moderately comfortable-looking design. Best of all, it'll manage to deliver all that for a nickel shy of $50 next month. Oh, it'll have some storied competitors at that price point, to be sure, but now you have more choices. Isn't capitalism grand? PR after the break.
Continue reading Rude Gameware's Fierce Laser Gaming Mouse v2 has a long name and a lengthy spec sheet

Rude Gameware's Fierce Laser Gaming Mouse v2 has a long name and a lengthy spec sheet originally appeared on Engadget on Thu, 27 Jan 2011 18:01:00 EST. Peanut butter and jelly. Gin and tonic. Peaches and cream. Some strange combinations make perfect sense paired, but how about the mouse and the PC gamepad? Those two items are what a Hong Kong peripheral manufacturer decided to combine, and the result was the Shogun Bros. Chameleon X-1 -- a gaming mouse you can flip to find twelve buttons and two miniature analog sticks on the bottom. It works as a gamepad, sure enough, and functions as a one-handed multimedia remote too. But is it any good? We've used it as our primary peripheral for over a week, and after the break, we'll tell you.

Update: Shogun Bros. tells us our review unit shipped with a partially charged battery, and we'll be testing battery life again (with a fresh cell) as a result.

Update 2: Our testing is complete, and we found the X-1 lasted about two weeks with a fresh battery inside -- not bad, but not great either. Still, we've bumped the mouse's score one point as a result.
No, your eyes aren't deceiving you -- not one little bit. You're looking at a PC gamepad built into the bottom of a mouse, and not a drab one at that. It's called the Shogun Bros. Chameleon X-1, and if you just fell in love, we're afraid there's no suggested price, shipping date or a way to buy it yet. What we do know are the promised specs, which include a 5-stage adjustable 1600dpi optical sensor with 125Hz polling rate -- which admittedly sounds last gen -- that connects to your Windows PC over a USB dongle sporting 2.4GHz wireless. There's 14 buttons on the bottom, 7 on the top, and the company's support page suggests the device has force feedback as well. We're not terribly bullish on the "sophisticed Norway Nordic Chip System" the controller apparently has, but considering there are three very legitimate looking pictures of the device in our gallery below, we're not going to write it off quite yet.

Update: Shogun Bros. tells us the Chameleon should be available in Q1 2011, for the suggested retail price of $55.

Gallery: Shogun Bros. When we first got wind of Etsy seller Digitalsoaps in early 2009, she had but a humble NES gamepad and a couple of other controllers to her name -- fast forward to today, and you'll find the bubbly entrepreneur doing a brisk business in all sorts of wonderfully geeky soap shapes. This $10 Razer Orochi mouse is the latest, and as you can see it's close enough to the real thing to trick your buds at the next LAN party. Sadly, this particular soap is a limited-time offer -- and moving fast -- but the seller also deals in a painstakingly detailed Xbox 360 controller, caffeinated shampoo soda bottles, and sudsy replicas of any classic Nintendo cartridge you care to name.
Razer Orochi crafted from oil and glycerin, scrubs your bod between frag sessions originally appeared on Engadget on Fri, 10 Dec 2010 16:32:00 EST.
You've seen it announced and teased on video, and you can now finally light up your own desk with Razer's new Tron gaming mouse. It's available right now for $100, which will buy you more what appears to be more than just a novelty mouse --you'll get a 5600dpi 3.5g laser sensor, seven "Hyperesponse" buttons, an ambidextrous design and, yes, some Tron-inspired light and sound effects. Still no indication on a release for the accompanying Tron keyboard, unfortunately, nor is there any word on that matching mousepad, which will apparently be sold separately.

Razer's Tron gaming mouse now available for $100 originally appeared on Engadget on Tue, 23 Nov 2010 01:46:00 EST. Taiwanese peripheral manufacturer Tt eSports has launched a new three button gaming mouse aimed to please those with a penchant for fragging. Unlike other options out there such as the Razer Lachesis, which tout ever-increasing sensitivity specs, the Azurues' optical sensor engine is content to top out at 1600 dpi, and can easily be adjusted down to 400 / 800 dpi via a hardware switch on the bottom. That makes it ideal for those who prefer a little more wrist leeway while shooting. Other niceties include a black rubber coating for grip, an adjustable weight design, low friction Teflon feet, integrated lighting, and a braided cable to take repeated abuse from the thrill of desk-side battle. Unfortunately, pricing and availability are still unknown, so there's no need to remove your cursor from the back of your next victim's head until more details surface.
Continue reading Tt eSports' new Azurues gaming mouse has FPS players in its sights

Tt eSports' new Azurues gaming mouse has FPS players in its sights originally appeared on Engadget on Sat, 13 Nov 2010 05:27:00 EST.
