In a tweet, the leaker said 343 Industries was aiming for 120 frames per second in its arena mode, and would offer both a battle pass system and customization options that are “completely new to Halo.”

Halo Infinite opened the Xbox showcase — a long-awaited event focused on first-party titles for the Xbox platform, including the upcoming Xbox Series X console – with a campaign demo that showed Master Chief battling his way through a forest and mountain-covered planet.

‘Disintegration’ is a tactical shooter that questions transhumanism
At a glance, Disintegration looks a tad generic. The battle-ready robots, dressed in fashionable jackets and scarves, feel like they were ripped straight out of a Destiny artbook. And there's a reason for that -- the game is being developed by Halo co-creator Marcus Lehto and his indie studio V1 Interactive. Don't be fooled by the overly-familiar character designs, though. Disintegration has a world and technological fiction that is intriguing and different from the vast majority of science fiction shooters, including those that Lehto worked on during his long career at Bungie.
Two Halo characters are joining ‘Gears 5’
Thirteen years into their shared history, you would think Halo and Gears of War would have already crossed over before today. After all, following Microsoft's purchase of the Gears franchise in 2014, the two properties are the company's biggest and most important exclusives. So it's a bit strange to see it's not Master Chief, Halo's main hero, joining the fight against the Gear's Locust villains. Instead, it's two characters from 2010's Halo: Reach.

The producers have filled out considerably more of the cast beyond these prominent roles, too.
Microsoft starts public tests for 'Halo: Reach' on PC
Halo: Reach is now playable on PC... for a handful of very early adopters. Microsoft and 343 Industries have shared a slew of Master Chief Collection update news, including word that it has started a public test of Reach on Windows PCs that lasts through July 1st. Don't get your hopes up for joining in this round, though. There are less than 1,000 Halo Insiders involved, and they're playing just one campaign mission. The developers plan to invite more people "over time," though, so you can consider this the start of a much larger test experience.
'Halo Infinite' arrives holiday 2020 alongside the new Xbox
It's been a year since 343 Industries gave us our first glimpse of the next installment of Xbox's flagship series, Halo Infinite. But during the Microsoft keynote event on Sunday, 343 revealed that Master Chief will once again return to the battlefield just in time for the holidays in 2020. What's more, the game will be a launch title for the upcoming Xbox system, codenamed Scarlett. If you're not ready to upgrade, you'll still be able to play, since the plan is for it to support "more platforms than we ever have for a single game," across every Xbox One and PC.
LA museum's sci-fi car exhibit includes HoloLens tours
There's a chance you've seen a movie car or two if you've visited a convention, but the Petersen Automotive Museum's offering should be more... elaborate. It's opening a "Hollywood Dream Machines" exhibit that will showcase 40 vehicles from sci-fi games and movies. Some of them are practically expected, like the DeLorean from Back to the Future, Deckard's sedan from Blade Runner and a lightcycle from Tron: Legacy. Others, however, are harder-to-see items like the GM Ultralight from Demolition Man as well as Lexuses from Black Panther and Minority Report. And how many times are you going to see life-size recreations of a Warthog from Halo or a Sparrow from Destiny?
