Well, it looks like The Vampire Diaries isn't the only show that's hopped on the Windows Phone 7 bandwagon -- what appears to be an LG Optimus 7 turned up in the latest episode of Hawaii Five-0, where it was used in yet another awkward attempt to introduce the phrase "Bing it" to a dumbfounded audience. What would Jack Lord think? Head on past the break to check out the ad clip in question. [Thanks, Nathan]

As noted by Laura at Engadget this morning, we had a FaceTime sighting on CBS's so-old-it's-brand-new reboot of the classic cop drama Hawaii Five-0. You can see in the screenshot here that a somewhat puffy-looking Scott Cohen (low camera angle from iPhone = not all that flattering) is engaging in a video chat with another character; for the rendition in motion, CBS is streaming full episodes of the show here (of course it's also available on iTunes, along with the original Jack Lord series). We're always on the lookout for the uses and misuses of Apple products on TV and in the movies, so be sure to send us a note if you see something engaging or amusing.

Did you know that there's a 're-imagined' version of the classic 1970's television series Hawaii Five-O currently airing on CBS? Well, neither did we, but there is, and apparently, this guy (pictured above) talked to that smaller guy (also pictured above) on FaceTime on an episode which aired recently. We hope everything went well. [Thanks, Silvio]
