But there was one icon who had more product tie-ins than anyone else. Yep, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/hello+kitty">Kitty-chan</a> was in attendance and she had plenty of pink paraphernalia to hawk to unsuspecting fans of all things <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/cute"><em>kawaii</em></a>. We've collated together all the gear spotted at CES and, fortunately, there was more than just a few phone cases and laptop bags. Merchandise spotted includes Kitty-themed karaoke machines, alarm clocks with mounted laser <strike>cannons</strike> projectors, cordless phones and more. A brief video tour of some of our favorite surprises is coming soon, but until then, enjoy all that the super-deformed cat had to offer in our gallery below.<br /><br /><em>Sean Cooper and Sean Buckley contributed to this post.</em><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/hello-kitty-at-ces-2012/">Hello Kitty at CES 2012</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/hello-kitty-at-ces-2012/#4755696"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2012/01/kittydsc00266mat800_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/hello-kitty-at-ces-2012/#4755682"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2012/01/kittydsc00607mat800_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/hello-kitty-at-ces-2012/#4755689"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2012/01/kittydsc00601mat800_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/hello-kitty-at-ces-2012/#4755690"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2012/01/kittydsc00600mat800_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/hello-kitty-at-ces-2012/#4755692"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2012/01/kittydsc00594mat800_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/01/16/hello-kitty-ces-2012-gallery/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Hello Kitty pays a visit to CES 2012: If you want it, we got it in pink</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/01/16/hello-kitty-ces-2012-gallery/">Hello Kitty pays a visit to CES 2012: If you want it, we got it in pink</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Mon, 16 Jan 2012 19:11:00 EST. What the world needs now is just one thing, and that thing is a bejeweled <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/HelloKitty/">Hello Kitty</a> laptop. Fortunately, Japan's <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/MouseComputer/">Mouse Computer</a> is well aware of this, which is why it's unleashed the LuvBook S, pictured above. Designed in collaboration with Sanrio and Swarovski, this masterpiece is powered by a 2.2 GHz Intel Core i3-2330M processor and boasts an 11.6-inch, 1,366 x 768 display. It also packs a 500GB HDD and a 1.3 megapixel camera, but all that really matters is the swaggy centerpiece -- a heart-ensconced Hello Kitty mug made out of about 1,100 Swarovski stones and untold buckets of cuddles. The LuvBook is available now for &yen;69,930 (about $900), at the source link below.</div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/11/26/mouse-computers-luvbook-s-heals-emotional-scars-one-hello-kitt/">Mouse Computer's LuvBook S heals emotional scars, one Hello Kitty at a time</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Sat, 26 Nov 2011 03:50:00 EST. Is your passion for <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/CordlessPhone/">cordless phones</a> only matched by your love of <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/HelloKitty/">Hello Kitty</a>? Boy have we got the product for you. From a technical standpoint, the TF-FN2000 is a largely unexceptional cordless phone / answering machine combo with a display that offers up phone numbers and missed calls. This edition does has a secret weapon, however: it's pink, covered in hearts and has an image of an adorable white cat with a bow. If that's good enough for you -- and you happen to live in Japan -- the phone will be available in early October. No word yet on pricing.</div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/09/15/pioneer-intros-hello-kitty-cordless-phone-calls-the-90s-to-bra/">Pioneer intros Hello Kitty cordless phone, calls the '90s to brag</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Thu, 15 Sep 2011 22:01:00 EST. In Japan, a certain hallowed distinction has been garnered by all ephemera <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/kawaii">cute and pretty</a>. So, it goes without saying that this pair of oblong flip phones, with their familiar animated sponsors, should have the Harajuku hordes rushing in with charm straps at the ready. For its particular crack at <em>kawaii</em>, Panasonic's P-06C gets an understated splash of <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/snoopy/">Snoopy</a> cool, visible only through two available built-in themes. The clamshell entry comes with a 3-inch display, 5.1 megapixel camera and retails for about 28,560 yen (or $375). But, let's face it folks, the real stunner of the two is the Softbank-designed model <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/hello%20kitty">Ms. Kitty-chan</a> adorns. The Antique Berry-shaded 007SH KT packs a 3.4-inch display, 16.1 megapixel camera and Android 2.3 into a 180 degree foldable handset, and can be yours when it goes on sale next month. Be sure to jump past the break for a double dose of this wireless adorability.<p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/08/19/hello-kitty-snoopy-lend-their-brand-equity-to-the-cute-clamshel/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Hello Kitty, Snoopy lend their brand equity to the cute clamshell phone cause</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/08/19/hello-kitty-snoopy-lend-their-brand-equity-to-the-cute-clamshel/">Hello Kitty, Snoopy lend their brand equity to the cute clamshell phone cause</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Fri, 19 Aug 2011 13:09:00 EST. It's no secret that we're very fond of <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/HelloKitty/">Hello Kitty</a> gadgets -- just like pretty much everyone else on the planet. And Sanrio's lucrative partnership with <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/Mimoco/">Mimoco</a> has spun the famous cat's rep into... more awesome flash drives. It seems like Sanrio is always celebrating <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/08/12/sanrio-and-mimobot-team-up-to-unleash-some-cute-for-hello-kitty/">some kind of birthday</a>, and for the company's 50th anniversary they've busted out more than their fair share of gear. This time, it's a "classic" Hello Kitty flash drive that comes in 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB capacities. We're kind of in love with Kitty's elongated face on this model, so if you so choose, you can grab one of these up for a starting price of $34.95.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/09/18/mimoco-bumps-out-yet-another-hello-kitty-flash-drive-to-celebrat/">Mimoco bumps out yet another Hello Kitty flash drive to celebrate Sanrio's 50th anniversary</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Sat, 18 Sep 2010 04:45:00 EST. Look, if there was one thing that the all black, tiny little <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/12/07/iriver-takes-the-leash-off-new-black-hello-kitty-pmp/">Hello Kitty PMP</a> was missing, it was some bling. Fear not, enticed consumers: she gets what she wants. iRiver's just unleashed a few updated versions -- basically identical to the last ones, but HK's now sporting a little more glitter. The Hello Kitty Music Player Premium DX has two versions -- one where Miss K's got a bow in her hair, and another where she's donned a flower. Can you believe that <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/HelloKitty/">Hello Kitty</a>'s turning 35? She sure does look great for her age! Surprisingly this is <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/08/05/hello-kitty-limited-edition-casio-exilim-ex-z2-with-12-1-meowgap/">not the first 12.1 megapixeled Casio</a> digicam we've seen outed to commemorate this most special of occasions -- but it certainly comes in some of the hottest pinks we've seen thus far. This limited edition, Korea-only Casio <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/EXZ90/">EX-Z90</a> boasts all the same features as the regular one -- 3X optical zoom, auto-detect and "Intelligent" autofocus -- plus those megapixels we already mentioned. Really, the biggest selling point here is the blinged up branding, and we'd assume that makes it worth the KRW 350,000 (around $300) price tag.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/12/22/hello-kitty-gets-another-12-1-meowgapixel-camera-to-celebrate-he/">Hello Kitty gets another 12.1 meowgapixel camera to celebrate her 35th anniversary</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Tue, 22 Dec 2009 14:11:00 EST. Look, we don't enjoy being angry all the time. But dammit, just look at this TV will you? Now imagine staring at that bow and whisker adorned 13.3-inch LCD TV for hours on end just like the neglected child who'll receive it on Christmas Eve. Not that the specs matter but this

<a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/iriver/">iriver'</a>s newest dedicated PMP is something to behold. A shiny black (with gold accents!) version of its no doubt beloved <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/HelloKitty/">Hello Kitty</a> player, this newest addition is all about its looks. The little player comes in 2GB and 4GB storage varieties, comes with a USB cable, ear buds, and a cute little lanyard for attaching it to things like your beltloop. The cases they make for the Hello Kitty PMP -- such as the red devil horns -- essentially sell themselves. They're going on sale just in time for the holidays and the new year -- but this one's a Japan-only release for the time being. It'll run you &yen;7,980 (about $90) to grab one. There's one more shot of this glorious product after the break!<p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/12/07/iriver-takes-the-leash-off-new-black-hello-kitty-pmp/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>iriver takes the leash off new black Hello Kitty PMP</em></a></p><p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portableaudio/" rel="tag">Portable Audio</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/12/07/iriver-takes-the-leash-off-new-black-hello-kitty-pmp/">iriver takes the leash off new black Hello Kitty PMP</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Mon, 07 Dec 2009 19:29:00 EST. You remember <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/Moneual/">Moneual</a>, right? You know -- the guys and gals playing a <a href="http://www.engadgethd.com/2007/09/08/hands-on-with-moneuals-tubular-i-magine-htpc/">torrented movie</a> on their demo unit at a trade show. Now that we're on the same page, have a look at the show-stopper above. That's the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/HelloKitty/">Hello Kitty</a>-embellished MiNEW A10, or in other words, the most outrageous <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/nettop/">nettop</a> to ever see the light of day. The wildest part is that existing A10 owners can even make their relatively sane looking machine morph into cuteness overload for the tidy sum of ₩150,000 ($123). Or you can just get a whole new rig that no one else has to know about for ₩540,000 ($443) -- totally your call there. One more frightening look is after the break.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.akihabaranews.com/en/news-18906-The%20Ultimate%20Hello%20Kitty%20Nettop%20is%20made%20by%20MiNEW%20A10%E2%80%A6.html">Akihabara News</a>]<p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/09/16/moneuals-minew-a10-nettop-gets-preciously-attacked-by-hello-kit/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Moneual's MiNEW A10 nettop gets preciously attacked by Hello Kitty</em></a></p><p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/desktops/" rel="tag">Desktops</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/09/16/moneuals-minew-a10-nettop-gets-preciously-attacked-by-hello-kit/">Moneual's MiNEW A10 nettop gets preciously attacked by Hello Kitty</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Wed, 16 Sep 2009 09:43:00 EST. Get ready -- Hello Kitty's about to blow out the candles for her 35th anniversary -- so Sanrio's gone on an especially <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/08/05/hello-kitty-limited-edition-casio-exilim-ex-z2-with-12-1-meowgap/">wild licensing tear</a>. We see all kinds of <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/07/13/keepin-it-real-fake-part-ccxxiv-hello-kitty-phone-3g-is-our-n/">insane HK gear</a> around these parts, but we are, admittedly, fans of MIMOBOTS adorable storage. Now, there are not a lot of details to go on here, nothing specific, with regards to pricing or capacities -- but the Hello Kitty <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/MIMOBOT/">MIMOBOT</a> flash drives are expected on or about the 1st of November. Similar 'bots (we checked out Darth Vader) run $19.95 for a 1GB model, and up to $49.95 for a 30GB. Meow!! Now, we're not sure -- but we're laying our bets that we can expect other fruit-inspired costumes for our feline friend above... or maybe we're just hoping to see her dressed up as a peach!<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/storage/" rel="tag">Storage</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/08/12/sanrio-and-mimobot-team-up-to-unleash-some-cute-for-hello-kitty/">Sanrio and MIMOBOT team up to unleash some cute for Hello Kitty's 35th</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Wed, 12 Aug 2009 01:33:00 EST. You didn't expect <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/HelloKitty/">Hello Kitty</a>'s 35th anniversary to pass without a flurry of new products did you? Now, this is not the first <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/02/15/casio-digicam-gets-overrun-by-hello-kitty/">Casio digital camera</a> we've seen carrying the HK moniker, but the Exilim EX- Z2 is the first 12.1-megapixel affair we've ever seen with the meow meow on it. Bedazzled with Swarovskis and all pinked up, this Casio boasts a 2.7-inch LCD, and a 3 x optical zoom, plus the package seems to come with some other items of interest -- a camera case, lanyard, and giant poofy pink thing! All this can be yours (available for pre-order now) for $500. <br />

There are <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/02/15/casio-digicam-gets-overrun-by-hello-kitty/">a lot</a> of Hello Kitty products. <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/01/27/hello-kitty-linemans-handset-fills-a-niche-hello-kitty-lovin/">A lot</a>. So many, in fact, that it's kind of hard to get excited about <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/01/24/hello-kitty-keyboard-boasts-keys-cute-and-cuddliness/">each</a> and <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/12/15/hello-kitty-flip-mino-cant-stop-recording-self-in-mirror/">every one</a> of them. Then again, this one's pretty sweet. Sanrio's just-announced seven-inch digital photo frames are the classic Kitty motif we know and love, with 6MB of onboard memory, SD/SDHC, MMC support via USB, and a 1W speaker. They're available in Japan now for <span id="product-price-505" class="regular-price"><span class="price">&yen;22,700.00 (about $234) in both red and white. No word on any availability elsewhere, sadly. There's one more photo after the break.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.coolest-gadgets.com/20090531/sanrio-announces-kitty-digital-picture-frames/">Coolest Gadgets</a>]<br /></span></span><p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/06/02/sanrio-announces-two-hello-kitty-digital-photo-frames-one-child/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Sanrio announces two Hello Kitty digital photo frames, one child goes bananas</em></a></p><p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/digitalcameras/" rel="tag">Digital Cameras</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/displays/" rel="tag">Displays</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/06/02/sanrio-announces-two-hello-kitty-digital-photo-frames-one-child/">Sanrio announces two Hello Kitty digital photo frames, one child goes bananas</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Tue, 02 Jun 2009 03:20:00 EST. While it was Acer's Windows Home Server-equipped <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/02/26/acers-easystore-h340-says-hello-atom-hello-windows-home-server/">easyStore H340</a> getting the Atom upgrade last month, we're taking a look at the Atom 230-packin' Altos easyStore here at <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/CeBIT/">CeBIT</a>. Boasting four hot-swappable bays and a ravishing design, this here NAS device is suitable for avid home users and the everyday small business owner. 'Round back, we found four USB 2.0 sockets, an Ethernet jack and an eSATA port, but why not head to the gallery and see all of it with your own two eyes?<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/acer-easystore-h340-windows-home-server-hands-on/">Acer's Atom-powered Altos easyStore hands-on</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/acer-easystore-h340-windows-home-server-hands-on/#1406713"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2009/03/acer-easystore-cebit_2103_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/acer-easystore-h340-windows-home-server-hands-on/#1406729"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2009/03/acer-easystore-cebit_2104_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/acer-easystore-h340-windows-home-server-hands-on/#1406722"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2009/03/acer-easystore-cebit_2105_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/acer-easystore-h340-windows-home-server-hands-on/#1406730"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2009/03/acer-easystore-cebit_2106_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/acer-easystore-h340-windows-home-server-hands-on/#1406717"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2009/03/acer-easystore-cebit_2107_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/storage/" rel="tag">Storage</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/03/04/acers-atom-powered-altos-easystore-hands-on/">Acer's Atom-powered Altos easyStore eyes-on</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Wed, 04 Mar 2009 18:37:00 EST. Discounting CyberPower's <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/02/17/cyberpower-intros-atom-powered-windows-home-server-100/">misnomer</a>, we haven't seen a proper Windows Home Server to compete with HP's <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/media+smart/">MediaSmart</a> in quite some time. Thankfully Acer is up to the challenge, at least in Japan, announcing its new easyStore H340 series, initially available in two flavors: S1 for those who need just 1TB of storage and the S2 for those who want three times that. (Yes, S3 seems like a more appropriate name to us, too.) Other than the number of drives internally (one for the S1, three for the S2) the machines are the same, sporting a 1.6GHz Atom 230, 1GB of memory, and four internal drive bays. Naturally both offer all the WHS tricks, like remote backup of networked computers and plenty of media streaming, tricks they'll start turning in Japan on March 6th at the cost of about $600 for the S1 and $900 for the S2.<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/homeentertainment/" rel="tag">Home Entertainment</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/storage/" rel="tag">Storage</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/02/26/acers-easystore-h340-says-hello-atom-hello-windows-home-server/">Acer's easyStore H340 says hello Atom, hello Windows Home Server</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Thu, 26 Feb 2009 10:41:00 EST. Hopefully your retinas aren't burning, but we can definitely understand if you need to take a few minutes and resume reading later after viewing the image above. An almost unlawful amount of cuteness has mauled this otherwise average <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/Casio/">Casio</a> EXILIM digital camera, which just so happens to boast a 9 megapixel sensor, 2.6-inch rear LCD monitor, 41.2MB of internal storage space, an SDHC card slot, 3x optical zoom lens, a video recording mode and a borderline sickening amount of crystals, pink and <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/HelloKitty/">Hello Kitty</a>. Those who don't mind blinding their guests each time they attempt to snap a shot can grab one now for &yen;47,250 ($513), but you can probably guess what our recommendation would be.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.topix.net/gadgets/digital-cameras/2009/02/casio-9-1-megapixel-hello-kitty-edition-with-a-dash-of-crystals">Topix</a>]<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/digitalcameras/" rel="tag">Digital Cameras</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/02/15/casio-digicam-gets-overrun-by-hello-kitty/">Casio digicam gets overrun by Hello Kitty</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Sun, 15 Feb 2009 05:04:00 EST. You may remember deviantART member Ricepuppet from his days dressing up his <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/12/29/xbox-360-gets-stylish-domo-kun-paint-job/">Xbox 360 in Domo-kun stylings</a>. He's back, combining our love for console paint jobs with all things <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/HelloKitty/">Hello Kitty</a>. No matching controller this time, but there's more than enough stars, shades of pink, and cuteness to make up for it. The Sanrio charmer isn't the only new mod he's got, we also spotted consoles adorned with <em>Halo Wars</em>, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Chocobos (of <em>Final Fantasy</em> fame). Now how about we see some of that HK love plastered on a <em>Rock Band</em> drum set?<br /><br /><a href="http://ricepuppet.deviantart.com/art/Hello-Kitty-360-111990024">Read</a> - Hello Kitty mod<br /><a href="http://ricepuppet.deviantart.com/art/Go-Go-Sonic-110410322">Read</a> - Go Go Sonic mod<br /><a href="http://ricepuppet.deviantart.com/art/Halo-Wars-Xbox-360-WIN-THIS-112347052">Read</a> - Halo Wars mod<br /><a href="http://ricepuppet.deviantart.com/art/Chocobo-Racing-on-360-110222991">Read</a> - Chocobo racing mod<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/gaming/" rel="tag">Gaming</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/02/10/hello-kitty-xbox-360-dazzles-while-you-frag/">Hello Kitty Xbox 360 dazzles while you frag</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Tue, 10 Feb 2009 02:28:00 EST. It's actually tough to tell whether or not this <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/HelloKitty/">Hello Kitty</a> "inspired" handset is real or fake, but at least <em>Mobile-Review</em> is claiming that the HK-adorned F305 will go on sale in Russia this March. From what we can gather, this is a rather <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/06/21/sony-ericsson-f305-gets-toyed-with-previewed/">standard F305</a> outside of the flamboyant exterior, boasting a two megapixel camera, M2 card slot, Motion Gaming and a ringer that only knows how to meow. We've no clue how costly this little beauty will be, but you can go ahead and bank on the fact that you'll be buying one for the Cosmo Girl in your life.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Feldarmurtazin.livejournal.com%2F288140.html&amp;sl=ru&amp;tl=en&amp;hl=en&amp;ie=UTF-8">eldarmurtazin</a>, thanks c88lman]<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/handsets/" rel="tag">Handsets</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/sony-ericsson/" rel="tag">Sony Ericsson</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/01/27/sony-ericssons-f305-gets-mauled-by-hello-kitty/">Sony Ericsson's F305 gets mauled by Hello Kitty</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Tue, 27 Jan 2009 08:16:00 EST. The monstrosity you're looking at here is somehow a phone, but in an overzealous attempt to completely destroy it with <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/HelloKitty/">Hello Kitty</a> branding, it's been formed into that fricking cat head -- a shape that makes absolutely no sense for a phone whatsoever, may we add. We're pretty sure you could make little kids cry on command by pulling this out of a pocket, so even if you can't imagine actually talking into this thing (we certainly can't), maybe it's worth the buy anyway. Pure Digital Technologies' Flip Video lineup is getting <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/hello%20kitty">Hello Kitty-fied</a> with the Mino and MinoHD. Like their not-as-adorable kin, the camcorders sport one-touch video recording, a built-in USB port, and are able to record 60 minutes of video with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Most importantly -- and sure to tip the scales in Flip's favor over the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/12/11/creatives-vado-hd-720p-pocket-camcorder-reviewed-toe-to-toe-wi/ ">Vado HD 720p Pocket</a> -- the camcorders come in eleven <em>different </em>Hello Kitty designs. Far East Gizmos says the price will be $179.99 for Mino and $229.99 for MinoHD, which is the same price as the respective models without these adorable skins. Between this and last month's <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/11/22/hello-kitty-c1-netbook-packs-a-lotta-tude-into-a-small-package/">C1 netbook</a>, we hope this is a sign of an uptick in lip-bitingly cute Hello Kitty-branded tech gear.<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/digitalcameras/" rel="tag">Digital Cameras</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/12/15/hello-kitty-flip-mino-cant-stop-recording-self-in-mirror/">Hello Kitty Flip Mino can't stop recording self in mirror</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Mon, 15 Dec 2008 12:51:00 EST. <div align="left">There's been a serious dearth of <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/HelloKitty/">Hello Kitty</a>-branded products these days, but the dry-spell is thankfully at an end, with the arrival of the Hello Kitty C1. The crazy cat's apparently first-ever netbook is (as you can see in the photo) quite a looker, and it's packing a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU with 1GB DDR2 SDRAM, a 945 GSE Express chipset and a 120GB hard drive. The 10.1-inch netbook's also got two USB ports, a 1.3 megapixel webcam and WiFi. It's going to cost you 890 smackers to make this yours, but the sassiness alone kind of makes it worth it, doesn't it?<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://news.cnet.com/8301-17938_105-10105765-1.html?part=rss&amp;tag=feed&amp;subj=Crave">CNET</a>]</div><p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/laptops/" rel="tag">Laptops</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/11/22/hello-kitty-c1-netbook-packs-a-lotta-tude-into-a-small-package/">Hello Kitty C1 netbook packs a lotta 'tude into a small package</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Sat, 22 Nov 2008 08:37:00 EST. Word on the street is that Sanrio was looking for new Hello Kitty designers on the West Coast earlier last week, and if this sad little <a href="http://engadget.com/tag/1seg">1seg</a> portable TV is any indication, we can see why the company's in search of fresh talent. Seriously, this is the least cute <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/hellokitty">Hello Kitty gadget</a> we've seen in a while, and we're basically suckers for the lil' imp. Japan-only, and your &yen;21,000 ($197) doesn't get you anything special on the inside, either, just a 2.4-inch QVGA screen and built-in stereo speakers with a 4.5-hour battery life. Come on, Kitty -- make us love you again.<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portablevideo/" rel="tag">Portable Video</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/07/14/hello-kitty-1seg-portable-tv-lacks-effort-cuteness/">Hello Kitty 1seg portable TV lacks effort, cuteness</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Mon, 14 Jul 2008 20:08:00 EST. Don't bother <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/09/19/hello-kitty-claims-two-more-epson-laptops/">asking</a> if the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/06/06/the-hello-kitty-lavie-is-this-really-the-life-nec/">madness</a> will ever <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/12/26/hello-kitty-gets-swarovski-studded-again-on-the-nec-lavie-g-lapt/">end</a>; you know good and well it <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/09/02/hello-kitty-invades-the-epson-endeavor-na101/">won't</a>. Now that we're clear, let's focus on the latest Hello Kitty-blasted laptop: the May-bound Endeavor NJ2100. Available in either a floral-inspired or airplane-dominated theme, the predominantly Pearl White machine touts <strike>rather</strike> exceptionally modest specs (shocked?) including a 15.4-inch WXGA display, 1.86GHz Intel Celeron processor, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, an 80GB hard drive, 3-in-1 multicard reader, gigabit Ethernet / WiFi and Windows Vista Home. You'll also find a FireWire socket, four USB 2.0 ports, a PC Card slot and around one measly hour of battery life from the standard cell. Totally not worth the &yen;147,000 ($1,409) asking price, but then again, cuteness demands a serious, serious premium these days.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.slipperybrick.com/2008/04/epson-endeavor-nj2100-hello-kitty-laptop/">Slippery Brick</a>, thanks David]<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/laptops/" rel="tag">Laptops</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/04/26/epson-sanrio-team-up-for-two-more-hello-kitty-laptop-designs/">Epson, Sanrio team up for two more Hello Kitty laptop designs</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Sat, 26 Apr 2008 17:16:00 EST. Scary how long it's been since we've seen any <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/12/26/hello-kitty-gets-swarovski-studded-again-on-the-nec-lavie-g-lapt/">new gadgetry</a> with Her Cuteness splashed all over it, huh? Or maybe the sight of an actual <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/HelloKitty/">Hello Kitty</a> washing machine is what's really terrifying. Regardless, Sanrio is now marketing a washer sure to be purchased by only the hardest of hardcore fanatics, and while we've nary a clue what kind of features the unit actually possesses, we won't kid ourselves and suggest that it even matters.<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/household/" rel="tag">Household</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/04/23/hello-kitty-washing-machine-wont-make-your-garb-any-cuter/">Hello Kitty washing machine won't make your garb any cuter</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Wed, 23 Apr 2008 05:32:00 EST. When you really love <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/HelloKitty/">Hello Kitty</a>, it's safe to say that one of <em>anything</em> featuring her image is never enough. If you know what we mean, you may want to check into the latest high-end entry in the canon: the NEC LaVie G Hello Kitty edition -- a follow-up to this Summer's <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/06/06/the-hello-kitty-lavie-is-this-really-the-life-nec/">LaVie</a> -- once again featuring images of the ubiquitous cat studded in breathtaking Swarovski crystals. Underneath the glitz you'll find a 15.4-inch WXGA display, an AMD Turion CPU, 2GB of RAM, a 120GB hard drive, plus a DVD+RW and a handful of USB ports which will allow you to plug in your Hello Kitty flash drives and the like. Right now this sweet <strike>puppy</strike> kitty is only available in Japan, and will run you around &yen;210,000 ($1,840) -- but we don't think that will stop you.<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/laptops/" rel="tag">Laptops</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/12/26/hello-kitty-gets-swarovski-studded-again-on-the-nec-lavie-g-lapt/">Hello Kitty gets Swarovski-studded again on the NEC LaVie G laptop</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Wed, 26 Dec 2007 14:22:00 EST. The Hello Kitty TP dispenser is gushing with obligatory cuteness and can be programmed to dole out exactly the right amount of paper with each button press; of course, there really should be a couple of buttons to satisfy the whole family, but we digress. The unit reportedly rings up at around $220, which sounds about two bills too high unless you're already devoted to collecting all things adorned with Ms. Kitty. Ah well, at least your Hello Kitty toilet paper won't seem so out of place now, right?<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/household/" rel="tag">Household</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/11/25/hello-kitty-gets-her-own-automatic-toilet-paper-dispenser/">Hello Kitty gets her own automatic toilet paper dispenser</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Sun, 25 Nov 2007 19:48:00 EST. Alright, so it's not a real hole-in-the-wall, but just in case your eight year-old did need some training in how to operate one, here's the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/HelloKitty/">Hello Kitty</a> ATM Bank. Its pink, it's got HK on it, and it looks vaguely like those machines you find in 7-Elevens: fortunately, it won't give your kids cash on credit. They've gotta put some pennies in first. It comes with a Hello Kitty cash card for withdrawals, which should help your child transition to the Hello Kitty Consolidated Bank account you've set up -- yes, <a href="https://www.dahsing.com.hk/dsb/rbd/html/iac_pink_e.htm">they're real</a>. No word on how much this monstrosity is, but you can probably guess which country they're available in.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://crave.cnet.com/8301-1_105-9811496-1.html?part=rss&amp;tag=feed&amp;subj=Crave">Crave</a>]<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/gadgets/" rel="tag">Misc. Hello Kitty has certainly <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2005/11/04/okwap-a236-hello-kitty-phone/">claimed</a> her fair share of cellphones in the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/08/15/benq-siemens-hello-kitty-themed-al61/">past</a>, but she's going totally diva on the Okwap C150T. From top to bottom, side to side, this GSM handset is smothered in cuteness, and reportedly, it boasts a built-in media player, a two-megapixel camera, and a myriad Hello Kitty themes / backgrounds. Regrettably, there's no word on a price just yet, and it's doubtful you'll find this thing anywhere in America, but go on and click through for shots of the interface if you just can't get enough.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.akihabaranews.com/en/news_details.php?id=14946">AkihabaraNews</a>]<p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/10/12/okwaps-c150t-gets-mauled-by-hello-kitty/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Okwap's C150T gets mauled by Hello Kitty</em></a></p><p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/handsets/" rel="tag">Handsets</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/others/" rel="tag">Others</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/gsm/" rel="tag">GSM</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/10/12/okwaps-c150t-gets-mauled-by-hello-kitty/">Okwap's C150T gets mauled by Hello Kitty</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Fri, 12 Oct 2007 13:03:00 EST.
