Look familiar? We know, it's tough to keep this endless barrage of Android gear straight, so let us refresh your memory: this phone, allegedly the HTC Paradise, matches up perfectly with a model PC70110 that we spied in the FCC all the way back in April on its way to AT&T. Sure enough, some lucky dude apparently scooped it up as an "AT&T sample" from an eager seller on Craigslist recently -- and considering that the only QWERTY Android device that the carrier's got right now is the Backflip, we'd be delighted to see it come along any day now. That's not the only unreleased piece of hardware he managed to score, though: turns out he also got the Fiesta, a phone we haven't heard about in a full year and could very well have fallen on the scrap heap by now. The picture provided of the Fiesta isn't that great (check the Source link to see it), but from what we see and the fact that it's got a 3.2 megapixel camera, our guess is that it's been supplanted at retail by the Aria. At any rate, good to see AT&T seems to be keeping the heat on Android.
HTC Paradise and Fiesta flipped on Craiglist, AT&T-bound? originally appeared on Engadget on Wed, 04 Aug 2010 19:26:00 EST. Months and months after the telltale signs appeared over at the Bluetooth Special Interest Group, we've now got further confirmation that HTC's as-yet-unpeeped "Fiesta" will indeed be an Android handset. The good folks over at Cell Passion "stumbled upon" the UA Profile for this bad boy, also known as the HTC T5252, and here's what we know: the phone will boast a QVGA display, and a numeric keypad (read: non-QWERTY). Did we mention that internal HTC linking indicates this puppy is headed to AT&T? Yeah, we're definitely getting one -- to go with our super stylish, tricked-out Ford of the same name.

Filed under: Handsets, HTC, ATT, Android

HTC Fiesta: definitely Android, headed for AT&T originally appeared on Engadget on Fri, 07 Aug 2009 22:56:00 EST. We know from countless encounters with our dear, dear friends at the Bluetooth Special Interest Group that their certifications aren't as... shall we say, "detailed" as their counterparts at the FCC; frequently, we don't even bother with them because there's simply nothing there to talk about. Android phones are still pretty difficult to come by, though, so whenever we see the platform mentioned in a certification of any kind, we're bound to sit up and take notice -- particularly when said certification comes via HTC. Tipster Jeff came across a filing for an HTC "Fiesta" in the SIG this time around, descriptively noted as "an Android phone" that'll be available in Asia, Europe, and North America. Other than that, we can count on it having Bluetooth (would be funny if it didn't, wouldn't it?), but that's about it; the G1 / Dream was the Kila, the Magic was the Sapphire, so what's this gonna be?
