After all, we've tried <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/galaxynoteii,hands-on?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">almost every US version</a> so far, and nothing else has loomed on the horizon. Just in case there was any lingering uncertainty, though, Samsung sent us that promised formal invitation with exact details of what's going on: it's the US stop for the Galaxy Note II World Tour, with a press event that night followed by a "consumer celebration" later on that might bring a public side to the affair. Most American editions of the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/phablet/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">phablet</a> have been announced or <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/10/09/samsung-galaxy-note-ii-for-t-mobile-made-official/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">re-announced</a>, which suggests to us that we'll primarily get firmer <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/09/19/samsung-galaxy-note-ii-us-launch/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">release dates</a> and prices while we're busy hobnobbing.</p>

The company just asked us to clear our calendars for an evening presentation in New York City on October 24th, teasing that the "Next Big Thing" has arrived. It's easy to make the connection to the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/GalaxyNote/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Galaxy Note</a> line with a stylus front and center in the teaser, although just what's entailed is left to the imagination: is it a more formal launch for <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/09/20/samsung-galaxy-note-ii-for-sprint-hands-on/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">American Galaxy Note II</a> variants? A new tablet beyond the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/08/15/samsung-galaxy-note-10-1-review/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Galaxy Note 10.1</a>? All we know is that we plan to be there to find out.</p>

You've probably already guessed that there's some pretty tight integration with <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/google/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Mountain View's</a> other virtual properties, including Calendar, which means that sending your friends or coworkers a "save the date" to brunch or brainstorming no longer requires clunky email, or a phone call. That's not to say that your contacts need to opt-in to the search giant's social networking site to join the fun -- email invites are still available by typing your friend's address alongside your circles, or individual friends should you wish to plan an awkward inter-group soiree. You can choose from a variety of themes for your e-vite, which integrate motion or static banners. Once the fun begins, you can hop into Party Mode from your mobile, and photos you shoot during the event will appear beside the invite -- friends can add pics to the page as well, which you can later download. For now, please accept our invitation to jump past the break, where a Google demo video awaits.</p><p> Check out our full coverage of Google I/O 2012's opening keynote at our <a href="http://www.engadget.com/event/googleio2012?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">event hub</a>!</p><p> <div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/google-events/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Google+ Events</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/google-events/5121268?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2012/06/googleevents1_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/google-events/5121269?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2012/06/googleevents2_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/google-events/5121270?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2012/06/googleevents3_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/google-events/5121272?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2012/06/googleevents4_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/google-events/5121273?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2012/06/googleevents5_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div></p>

<p style="text-align: center;"> <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/05/23/gigabyte-to-unveil-x11-on-may-31st-as-lightest-laptop-ever/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><img alt="Image" src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2012/05/gigabyte-x11-invitation.jpg" style="margin: 4px; width: 600px; height: 414px;" /></a></p><p> Gigabyte is clearly hoping to carve out a name for itself in a <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/01/09/intel-75-plus-ultrabooks-coming-in-2012-50-percent-of-them-wil/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">very crowded ultraportable space</a>; it sent us word of a media event for a new X11 laptop in its native Taipei on May 31st, just a few days ahead of <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/Computex/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Computex</a>. The PC designer claims that the X11 will be the "lightest notebook on Earth," a pretty audacious claim considering the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/05/10/nec-lavie-z-ultrabook-uses-lithium-magnesium/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">featherweight competition</a>. Most of the braggadocio, we suspect, is rooted in the choice of material: Gigabyte is promising rather ominously to "conquer the 6th element," and unless it's financing the sequel to a <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/fifth+element?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Luc Besson movie</a>, we're reasonably sure the firm means extra-light carbon fiber. Other details are scarce, including whether there's any relation to the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/03/06/gigabyte-u2442-ultrabook-hands-on/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">U2442 Ultrabook</a> due this summer. We'll know in just over a week.</p>

A medley of opaque angles of galactic travel are meant to represent next week's big news story, alongside some brief claims of technology that fits easily in your hand. It finishes all too soon on those glossy enamel puddles shown above. The second trailer reveals more of the same, with Samsung promising the device will become "a natural side of life", throwing in a quick jibe at those rival smartphone-carrying "sheep". While we reckon we <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/04/20/galaxy-s-iii-leak/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">broadly know</a> what to expect when it comes to internal hardware, we're still itching see how Samsung's looking to reinvigorate its phone design following HTC's <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/04/02/htc-one-x-review/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">stylish smartphone salvo</a>. Anagram wizards will read that as, "the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/04/20/galaxy-s-iii-leak/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">next Galaxy,</a>" and wouldn't you know it, it's also the URL for an auspicious countdown clock. Sammy promises to let visitors take "the next step" in about 17 hours and counting. Bonafide internet sleuths can find an extra carrot strung up in the site's source, reading, "discover how Samsung is about to challenge the way you view the Galaxy once more." Is Samsung about to break its own <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/04/16/samsung-will-unveil-the-next-galaxy-phone-may-3rd-in-london/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">May 3rd unveiling?</a> We'll let you know in 16 hours and change.</p><p> <strong>Update</strong><strong>:</strong> It seems like that ticker just <em>might </em>be counting down to some sort of anagram guessing game, according to an Engadget tipster who partook in some directory diving. Among a series of assets of different colored lettered tiles he found images with instructions warnings, reading "Click on the letters in the correct order to reveal your real destination," and "Following technology blindly often gets you nowhere." Ominous.</p><p> <strong>Update 2</strong>: And <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/04/23/samsungs-new-galaxy-phone-gets-official-teaser-video/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">there it is</a>. Samsung's revealed two (well, one and a half) teaser videos -- but they don't reveal much.<br /> <br /> [Thanks, Naor]</p>

While most speculation will immediately focus around something we're expecting to arrive as the Galaxy S III, the BlackBerry World-spoiling invite we received is conspicuously devoid of details like name or specifications. While we'll keep the address of the Samsung Unpacked event to ourselves, the only other information included is the date / time (2PM ET) and the address for a live stream on Facebook. The <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/galaxys?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">original Galaxy S</a> and <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/galaxysii?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">GS2</a> are already million unit sellers many times over since first launching <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/03/23/samsung-announces-galaxy-s-android-smartphone/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">two years ago</a> and have led the Android pack for most of this time, so what will Samsung do to top itself this time? (Answer: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/04/05/samsung-were-still-not-into-3d-smartphones/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">not 3D</a>, and it's probably a little too late for another <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/continuum?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Continuum</a>-like gimmicky split display.) There are just 17 days left until we find out for sure.

We just got word from Google of an <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/Android?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Android-themed</a> event next week, with little more than the words "These Go to Eleven" right up top -- a reference to a phrase from the 1984 mockumentary <em>This is Spinal Tap</em>. To top things off, the email came from "Nigel Tufnel," Christopher Guest's character from the film. The event kicks off in Los Angeles at 2PM local time (that's 5PM for you folks on the East Coast) on Wednesday, November 16th. We'll be there live, and so will you -- catch the livestream at YouTube.com/Android. There are a few more subtle hints in the invite teaser image, so jump past the break to see if you can pick them out.

	Well, we know where we'll be on September 20th -- hanging out with <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/htc/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">HTC</a> in our classiest threads. The handset manufacturer sent out an invite for an upcoming event in NYC. So, what's on the agenda? The <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/08/24/htc-bliss-gets-its-clearest-photo-session-yet-shows-off-front-f/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Bliss</a>? <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/08/19/htc-announces-september-meetup-event-on-facebook-new-phones-on/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2011/08/htc-event.jpg" style="border-width: 0px; border-style: solid; margin: 4px;" /></a></div>
It looks like HTC may have some news in store for us on September 1st, when the company holds one of its public meetups in London. The folks over at <em>Pocket-Lint</em> noticed the event on HTC's Facebook page today, where the manufacturer posted an open invitation for the public to "come party" and "see what's next." At this point, it's hard to tell whether or not HTC will actually unveil anything in the way of new hardware, though there have been rumors swirling around a possible September release date for its <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/08/16/samsung-hercules-htc-ruby-available-from-t-mobile-on-october-26/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Ruby</a> and <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/08/16/htc-bliss-spotted-frolicking-in-the-blurry-wild/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Bliss</a> handsets, coupled with <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/08/05/htc-puccini-screens-leak-atandt-bloatware-and-number-pad-make-an/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">leaks</a> of its <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/08/18/htc-puccini-screens-leak-again-to-be-known-as-jetstream-on-at/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">forthcoming</a> Puccini tablet. Plus, as <em>Pocket-Lint</em> observes, HTC's last public meetup came in the wake of the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/05/27/htc-sensation-review/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Sensation</a>'s release, so recent history suggests there may be something afoot this time, as well. We'll have to wait and see how it all shakes out, but you can hit up the source link for more information on attending the event, which is open on a first-come, first-served basis.

Been jonesing for <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/05/08/windows-phone-7-updates-bing-to-find-music-and-barcodes-provide/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">more</a> news about Microsoft's upcoming <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/04/13/this-is-windows-phone-next-developers-take-notes-video/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Mango OS update</a>? So have we, and now all of us, VIPs and commoners alike, can circle the 24th of May as the date when Redmond will dish the full details of its next major software release. Notably, the mango(ish)-colored invite makes no mention of Windows Phone <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/10/20/windows-phone-7-review/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><em>7</em></a> anywhere, leading us to suspect that Microsoft will likely upgrade its mobile nomenclature as well as feature set. We'll be there whatever happens, liveblogging the full preview event and keeping an eye out for launch details for this fruity new OS.

We still don't have a solid release date for HP's tiny <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/02/09/hp-veer-first-hands-on/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Veer</a> -- we've been told it's "<a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/03/19/webos-2-1-sdk-now-available-to-all-comers-teases-big-push-for/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">coming around the corner</a>" and will be here "<a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/03/28/the-engadget-show-019-hps-jon-rubinstein-palm-touchpad-demo/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">soon</a>" -- but if we were the guessing type, we'd say that the pint-sized webOS 2.2 smartphone will hit the market on or about the 2nd of May. That's because a <em>PreCentral</em> reader stumbled across what looks like an official invitation to an "HP Veer Launch Party Event" in Los Angeles on that very date, and it's typically fairly difficult to launch a handset without a handset to launch, if you know what we mean. Still, this looks like a business-to-business event, so we wouldn't circle your calendar quite yet -- but if you've already got that red marker out, you might want to put a X over May 12th instead. That's the day that AT&amp;T is hosting a webOS 3.0 developer webcast -- which might be worth attending in and of itself -- but is particularly noteworthy given that HP hasn't announced carriers for the Veer or <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/03/07/hp-touchpad-emerges-from-the-vietnamese-wilds-sporting-sim-slot/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">SIM-slot packing</a> HP TouchPad just yet. <br />

Would you look at what dropped in our inbox this morning? Good old HTC is cooking up a little somethin' somethin' for an April 12th launch in London town, for an event kicking off at 1.30PM BST or 8.30AM EST. While consulting our solar calendars, we noticed that's when Microsoft's MIX 2011 developer gathering is also getting started, but we're <em>sure</em> it's just a coincidence and HTC isn't about to spring a battery of new <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/10/20/windows-phone-7-review/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Windows Phone 7</a> devices on us. In fact, if you stare at the invite's image long enough, you might just convince yourself you're looking at a bulging smartphone screen, which could indicate we're talking about the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/03/28/htc-evo-3d-coming-to-europe-keeping-the-sexy-name-and-specs/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">EVO 3D</a>'s European launch. You never know with these things. Whatever happens, we'd advise circling the date and making sure your popcorn supplies aren't running low.<br type="_moz" />

Let's just end the speculation right here: a Sprint-locked <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/01/11/iphone-4-with-cdma-for-verizon-gets-fcc-approval-right-on-time/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">CDMA iPhone</a> on the heels of <a href="http://mobile.engadget.com/tag/iphone4,verizon?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Verizon's</a> wouldn't be much of an "industry first," so we're thinking that whatever the company has to unveil on the evening of February 7th in New York will be of a very different flavor. The event invite goes on to say that they'll show "that the impossible is possible," which could very well mean the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/Epic4G/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Epic 4G</a> is getting <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/Froyo/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Froyo</a>. Burn! Also look for guest David Blaine to hold his breath in a tank of things that bite for 45 minutes or so, which will make for an awesome liveblog (yes, we'll be there).

That's right -- a huge event in New York <em>after</em> CES. Obviously the natural speculation is that this will be where the long-rumored <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/verizon,iphone?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">CDMA iPhone</a> makes its appearance, and it definitely feels that way -- but we suppose it could also be any number of other things, and it's definitely odd that Verizon's in charge and not Apple. Either way, we'll be there live to let you in on the scoop, so keep it locked right here.

Horror, shock, surprise! Microsoft CEO and prime fanboy of all things Windows and developer-related, Steve Ballmer, will be the keynote speaker at Microsoft's New York launch event for <a href="http://www.engadget.com/all/windowsphone7?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Windows Phone 7</a>. He'll be joined on stage by AT&amp;T's Ralph de la Vega and when the pep rally is over, we're promised opportunities to finally handle the official incarnations of retail Windows Phones for ourselves. We know all this because Microsoft has just dropped a kind little invite into our inbox urging us to attend its October 11 get-together. We will, of course, be there live, but don't forget Microsoft's also holding a <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/09/27/microsoft-hosting-press-conference-on-october-11-well-be-there/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">London event</a> on that day, ostensibly for the same reason, so make sure to be up nice and early next Monday if you don't wanna miss a thing.<br />
<br />
As we reported last night, the company is also holding a gathering centered around <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/10/03/confirmed-windows-phone-7-launches-october-11th-in-new-york-cit/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">T-Mobile WP7 handsets</a>, though details are more scarce on that event. We saw an official invite from the folks in Redmond, but it looks like that showing may be smaller in scale. We have to imagine that AT&amp;T and their GSM competition don't want to share the stage, but as this is a Microsoft launch, anything is possible. Regardless, if there are multiple carriers showing hardware come October 11th, we'll have all the goods.<br type="_moz" />

Like clockwork, we've just been dropped a line by T-Mobile USA asking us to join them for a very special media event to check out the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/hd2?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">HTC HD2</a> -- "a larger than life entertainment powerhouse" -- in fabulous New York City on the evening of March 16. That lines up nicely with the company's <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/02/16/t-mobile-launching-21mbps-webconnect-rocket-htc-hd2-next-month/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">earlier assurances</a> that we'd see a launch in March -- but what day in March, exactly? Well, we're hearing from a number of tipsters (including trusted sources) that the 24th is the day this thing breaks loose at retail, so set your watches and calendars accordingly -- assuming you haven't been wooed into <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/windowsphone7series?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Windows Phone 7 Series' </a>tender, loving grasp, that is.<br />
<br />
<strong>Update:</strong> MobiTV -- which has an app bundled with T-Mobile's version of the HD2 -- <a href="http://twitter.com/MobiTV/status/10186352094">says the HD2 is launching on the 23rd</a>, and frankly, they're probably in a position to know. Thanks, Stephen!

Well, this is interesting -- Intel just sent us an invitation to <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/12/21/nokia-to-have-private-connecting-people-event-alongside-mobile-w/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Nokia's press event</a> at <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/mwc2010?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Mobile World Congress</a> in Barcelona next week. We're told that the two companies will update us on the "latest developments" from their <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/06/23/intel-and-nokia-officially-partner-on-mobile-devices-the-possi/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">relatively new relationship</a>, before Nokia launches into its solo presser directly afterwards. That could mean pretty much anything from a ho-hum Atom N450 refresh of the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/booklet3g?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Booklet 3G</a> to a fire-breathing <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/moorestown?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Moorestown</a> <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/11/30/nokia-launching-only-one-maemo-device-in-2010/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Maemo 5 phone</a>, so we're obviously extremely curious to see what goes down -- our money is on the more conservative side of things, since we're thinking Intel just wants to have a presence at MWC, but we do love to be surprised.

We're not sure whether we'll see <a href="http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2009/10/08/blackberry-bold-2-to-be-announced-october-21-for-t-mobile-atandt/">official PR before then</a>, but it seems that T-Mobile is quietly slipping lucky individuals invites to "executive briefing" events for the upcoming <a href="http://www.engadgetmobile.com/tag/Onyx/">Onyx</a> / <a href="http://www.engadgetmobile.com/tag/9700/">9700</a> / <a href="http://www.engadgetmobile.com/tag/Bold2/">Bold 2</a> to be held early next month. Boy Genius Report so far seems to have the inside line on a November 3 date in LA followed by November 5 in the Big Apple, and like pretty much everything else BlackBerry-related, "business casual" attire is suggested. Certainly seems to match up nicely with a <a href="http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2009/10/09/blackberry-bold-2-set-for-november-11-t-mobile-launch/">November 11 retail launch</a>, doesn't it?
