  • The iPillow is cheaper than an iPhone, cuddles better, still no Flash

There's something about Apple's products that just makes people want to cuddle them -- we've talked about lots and lots (and lots) of Apple products turned into pillow form. Here's another: Drew Olanoff's (from Blame Drew's Cancer) mother made this iPhone pillow for him while he was recovering from chemotherapy. It's handmade and super cute -- I especially like the stylish icons, including the textPlus icon, which is Drew's own iPhone app. There's also a stitched Home button (which you can see in the full picture), and there's even a pocket on the side, sized just right for an actual iPhone of course. Awesome. [via Unpluggd]

Jen DeLeo over at PC Magazine has posted a Top 10 Weirdest iPod Accessories roundup. While we all know that "weird" is in the eye of the beholder, I do agree with many of her picks. The list includes such classics as the PodDress, the TuneBuckle the Power Pouch, the Tavo "Made for Click Wheel" Golves and the iPillow. Personally, I have to disagree on the TavoGloves pick as I have always longed for a pair of gloves that I don't have to remove in order to use my fingers. But how can any "Weirdest iPod Accessory" list exclude the "iCarta" iPod Toilet Paper dock!Check out the full list at PC Mag and weigh in here with your own picks!

  • iPillow: squishiness* for iPod cuddling

When I think of battery powered speakers for the iPod I usually picture a white plastic molded dock-type accessory, but apparently there is a market for cuddlier options. One such example is Brookstone's iPillow Portable MP3 Speakers (pictured here with a Creative MP3 player but compatible via mini jack with any MP3 player). This device takes six D batteries which probably means it can pump quite some volume in that huggable housing. Be careful not to use the iPillow in an iPillow fight because the mesh pocket doesn't offer much padding for that iPod of yours! The iPillow is only available in silver (but frankly in the picture here it looks blue to me).[via Popgadget] [*squishiness is not a real word]
